David Klatt
I'm building two decks themed around Spiderman, one is a "Spider Verse" deck that relies on a Spider Verse field card to boost the ATK and DEF of all the Spiderman variants on the field and the other is a Symbiote themed Synchro deck, where the Symbiotes are Tuners used to summon Venom, Carnage and the like. Here's what I've got so far. Standard vanilla Spiderman monster. There's also his effect versions, which are retrains essentially. Amazing Spiderman has an effect to dodge danger once per turn, inspired by his Spider Sense ability. The Miles Morales version makes for a pretty good defensive wall. His effect is based on his invisibility power, making him untargetable while in defense. Madam Web is basically a Spider Verse support card. Basically she protects your Spidermen and lets you summon them out for a quick attack, only for them to return to your hand during the end phase. Good for a hit-and-run tactic. Now let's get to the Symbiote Tuners. The symbiotes can be equipped in order to protect them from enemy attacks so you can Synchro summon later. The red symbiote can be used as synchro material from the hand, its meant to be more aggressive in nature. The black suit's effect is inspired by how Peter gets corrupted by the symbiote the more he wears it, attacking monsters that can't fight back and dealing piercing damage. The discard requirement is meant to mirror how Peter pushes people away while under the influence of the suit. Obviously you can tribute him to get the regular Spiderman back from the graveyard. Venom's a beast. All his effects are based around his origin story and his hatred of Spiderman. His destruction effect is inspired by his motivation of vengeance. King in Black is what the Symbiote deck builds towards. He's stupidly powerful with omni-negations and effect and negation immunity. Then there's his variable attack power, 1000 X the number of symbiote monsters on the filed and in the graveyard. Then he's got his own negation that comes at the cost of losing his source of power. This card would probably get banned or at least limited to one for how OP it is. Carnage is a really aggressive offensive monster with summoning restrictions to balance him out. Part of his effect is based on how Spiderman and Venom had to team up to fight him. Lastly we've got Anti-Venom. His effects are based around his powers from the comics. His negation protection is based on how he sacrifices himself to save everyone during the Spider Island event. Well that's what I've got so far, haven't gotten to the other symbiotes or Spidermen yet yet but I'm still working on them. Feel free to leave feedback or suggestions! Here's a list of cards I'm planning on making in the future: MONSTER CARDS The Spectacular Spider-Man (Another Peter Parker retrain) Spider-Gwen Spider-Man 2099 Spider-Man Noir Spider-Woman Scarlet Spider Spider-Ham White Symbiote The following are gonna be part of a villain deck: Green Goblin Doctor Octopus Electro Sandman Rhino Shocker Mysterio Vulture Scorpion Hobgoblin Kraven the Hunter The Lizard Black Cat SYNCHRO MONSTERS She-Venom Riot Phage Scream Lasher Agony Knull, God of the Symbiotes (Let's you special summon symbiote synchro monsters) FUSION MONSTERS Red Goblin (Green Goblin + Red Symbiote, can fuse automatically if both materials are on the field.) David Klatt
Finished some more cards. You can check the original post for the list of cards I was making and which ones have been completed. The Spider-Verse cards are pretty much done, I just have to make up an extra deck. Noir is a detective so his effect is kind of inspired by that. Uncovering mysterious finding clues etc. Spider-Gwen is a wanted fugitive in her universe so her banishment effects reflect that. You banish her to destroy a monster or protect a card in the same way that she's wanted for the murder of Peter Parker. Nevertheless, she return to the fight when people die, reflecting how she won't let law hunting her deter her from being a hero. Scarlet Spider is a clone of Peter so he can be summoned if Peter's on the field, also he can bring out other clones to help fill the field for Spider-Verse's effect. 2099's effect his based around his venom bite that he paralyzes people with. Basically stopping your opponent from using certain cards by discarding. Spider Spider-Woman's "charm" effect is inspired by her pheromone powers. Naturally I made Spider-Ham a toon, but his toon effects are based around Spider-Verse instead of toon world. Now its time to get to the Spell and Trap cards, these bring the whole strategy together. I also added 1 symbiote, Toxin, whose effect is basically a poison.

Yeah I was kind of stuck on what to do for him, might rework it.
David Klatt
Updated Toxin. His "poison" effect is more balanced I think and I added a draw engine effect based on Toxin's tracking powers.
David Klatt
Finished the rest of the Symbiote Tuners. Did She-Venom, Riot, Phage, Scream, Lasher and Agony. All of their effects are based on their unique attribute and powers. She-Venom's a bit weird though. Her effect is based on the symbiotes tendency to eat people, but its also based on Anne Weying's mental issue from being She-Venom. If you fail the dice roll, she has a mental break down essentially. I've done some symbiote support spells as well. I've also finished the last Symbiote tuner monster, its the Anti-Venom symbiote and has similar negation protection.
