Astro Dude
I know I might be repeating myself, but this is completely different. I would like to know, which of these two games would you prefer: Mega Man X or Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X? I think I prefer the newer version cause of the 3-d elements and you can play as Vile. But I also prefer the original for nostalgia. Which game would you prefer and give a reason why.
RestLess-BoTics
I really enjoyed playing Mega Man X, because I just think it's slightly better than Maga Man : Maverick Hunter X. -Glasstin
Guest JoshIcy
meh, the newer version can be beaten rather fast and i enjoy a good challenge... so the original is better for me...
Davok
I find Megaman X extremely hard to beat, and I only play it on my Megaman X Collection. Also, I've never played Megaman X: Maverick Hunter X before. Also, quick fact, have you heard of the pirate X game: Rocman X? (No, I didn't misspell Rockman. That's how it's spelled, Rocman)
DSS
Megaman X FTW dudei mean Megaman X: Maverick Hunter X is just a remake of Megaman x in 3d and that sucks2d megaman rules
TAG
Megaman X FTW dudei mean Megaman X: Maverick Hunter X is just a remake of Megaman x in 3d and that sucks2d megaman rules TECHNICALLY, it's 2.5d. But, oh well. Also, SMB3 in the Allstars is just a remake of SMB3 NES in 16-bit, but that doesn't suck. So how is it any different here? I've never played Megaman X: Maverick Hunter, but I have played Megaman X on the X Collection game. So until I've played the other one, I'm gonna go with the original (Storm Eagle FTW!) Astro Dude
To be honest, I've never played Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X either. I just saw some of the Maverick's (Sigma's soldiers) redesigned. I saw a pic of Storm Eagle bowing his head with his eyes closed. That might indicate that for a Maverick, he has regretted what he has done. I thought it was cool. But I prefer the original. Launch Octopus didn't have those rotation arms on his waist. Astro Dude
I'm starting to agree. Nothing beats Old School Mega Man X.
Guest JoshIcy
meh some things are better in Maverick Hunter like the speed and some gameplay, but the original has all those fun challenges that dont stray from the main game...
Astro Dude
Yeah. I should know. I beat the original. Sad to see Zero die. Guess we can stop wishing for a Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X2. Too bad really, I would like to see Serges, Violen, Agile and all the maverick bosses redesigned. Aside from that, beating the game is easy, if you happen to know the right weakness weapons.
