Tefached
I have officially made a new rule for this section. If a member posts pointless or offensive comments about another member's artwork' date=' that member will be banned from the Graphic Design Section for two days. (Please note that the member who made the pointless or offensive post will be banned, not the member that posted the thread.) Only give helpful advice or comments. Thank you.[/quote'] the problem i have with this is this stops people from posting harsh criticism....which i think helps peopleIf you post a banner, then you should be willing to accept it, so it wouldn't be offensive. exactly i love harsh comments....thats the risk you take though
Kizzi
Something like "YOU FAIL!!!" Or "lrn2tut" Damn I hate seeing replies like that. Those responses usually mean "This banner is beyond saving, start again with a tut".
overheat
sooo say "start again with a tut"why say "you fail" it just makes the banner maker angry

You weren't good at one point, remember that. It takes time to become skilled at something, so don't say "lrn2makebetterbanner", say, "This banner isn't good because....". Get it? Got it? Good. Good.I know I wasn't good. However, I did make a pretty cool banner (which is better than some of my other stuff), but only when I started READING TUTS as all new GFXers should do.Also what do you expect, someone to say "That's good 7/10" on a bad sig? That'll just make the person who made it over-happy, and they'll make more bad sigs. Finally, wouldn't be better and easier for newbies to read a good tutorial that explains everything rather than loads of tips that they don't understand yet? Guest Star
ya kiz thats the spirt That post isn't needed and you could have sent Kizzi a PM instead. Showcase isn't for card making. It's a lot easier to make cards than it is to make banners/avatars.

Brushfire
It should be: Kept Stickied.Added to the Showcase Rules. (Which there are none) What happens if this thread dies, then someone new to the GD section on YCM comes and flames everyone's work? *Re-Stickied by me* Kidding, it was Browarod.
