Gaiablaze the Sun Knight
lv 4 FIRE
Pyro/Tuner/Effect
If you control no monsters or all monsters you control are FIRE monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand), also, for the rest of this turn, you cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck except FIRE monsters. You can only Special Summon "Gaiablaze the Sun Knight" once per turn this way. If this card is used as Synchro Material for a FIRE Synchro monster: The summoned monster gains 1000 ATK. If a FIRE monster(s) you control would be destroyed by an opponents card: You can banish this card from your GY instead. You can only use this effect of "Gaiablaze the Sun Knight" once per turn.

Gaiablaze the Wrath of Blazing Sun
lv 11 FIRE

1 FIRE Tuner + 1 non-Tuner FIRE Synchro monster
When this attacking card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can activate this effect; this card can make an additional attack during this Battle Phase. Each time this card attacks: Inflict 500 points of damage to your opponents LPs. If this card is destroyed by an opponents card: Special Summon 1 Level 7 or lower FIRE monster that's banished or from your GY. You can only use this effect of "Gaiablaze the Wrath of Blazing Sun" once per turn.

Hey there,

Love to see aggro Fire get some support. The Tuner monster is a pretty crazy extender, since "free" Level 4 Tuners are still a rarity, but regarding the powerlevel of modern meta archetypes and the FIRE lock I don't think it would have much impact.

The Level 11 Synchro Monster is one hell of a beatstick and might enable OTKs with a whopping 4600 ATK and double attacks plus the minor burn effect. AGainst I like the aggro + protection approach as most modern decks and archetypes rather try to prevent the opponent from playing but these cards go straight for the throat. Anyhow I think you should specify the burn effect a little better, since "each time this card attacks" doesn't specify the trigger timing. It should probably rather say

Quote

When this card declares an attack: Inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

Also I think the floating in combination with the protection from the Sun Knight might play a bit weird, since both counter destruction. Maybe you should consider changing one of the effects to some kind of targeting prevention. I think an effect like Maiden With Eyes Of Blue could be pretty cool on Wrath Of The Blazing Sun, instead of the destruction float, so you could prevent destruction with Sun Knight and get Force Of The Blazing Sun back when your opponent targets you with a negate or a bounce.

Greets,

Messoras
