LinktotheFuture
Since Mystic Mine's (well deserved) ban, I've been thinking about how to write up some new Field Spells that might be a bit fairer but still floodgate the game. This is what first came to mind: Isolation Booth Field Spell Card Monsters on your side of the field are unaffected by your opponent's monster effects. Monsters on your opponent's side of the field are unaffected by your monster effects. This card cannot be negated or destroyed by monster effects. This way both players are free to do what they want on their side of the field without fear of most handtraps and monster negations. It also still incentives players to play Spell/Trap removal, hopefully in a better way than Mine did. I was debating whether to add some way the card would destroy itself, but I also didn't want the turn player to be able to turn this card off at will. Any thoughts? P.S.: If I had any art skills, I would draw an image of some monster that locked himself in a room with a large glass window, blowing a raspberry at at a monster outside while it could only look on in frustration. :)
