Harry Potter RP #2 Roleplaying Thread

Careless Whisper

While walking down the hall, Sain noticed something strange out in the window. It looked sort of creepy. It looked sort of like, A DEMENTOR! He ran down the hall, crashing into several people. When he got to Gerard, he told him all about it. Gerard got scared and just froze there. Sain was scared. He didn't know what to do.

Moments later, he woke up. It was all just a dream, but it looked so real! He was scared out of his mind!

He decided to forget it and go join his friends. So, he went to go join Sario and Cydonia.

Sario was getting quite annoyed by Sean as he noticed him following him around alot. All he wanted to do was spend some alone time with Cydonia. "I'm sorry Sean, but me and Cydonia gotta go, our Free Period is almost over, and we have Charms next, we have it with the Gryffindors." He lied, and he and Cydonia went up to the Library, knowing that sense Sean would then have nothing to do, he would go up to the Common Room.

OOC: I'm trying to have this make sense, Sean's of a different year than Sario and Cydonia so he shouldn't share classes with them. Plus, it would make better sense for Sario and Cydonia to be trying to get alone together, they are going out now. And you're making Sean seem very obnoxious, make him go to Care of Magical Creatures or Devinations. That goes with everyone.

P.P.S: I'm not going into too much detail with all the classes, mainly because I still need people to fill in those slots.

OoC: Okay, srry i didnt know.

Sain sighed. "Okay i guess I'll go to the common room now. See you guys later!" He then went to the common room.

At the common room, there were a lot of people. He went to go sit next to Gerard. He then pulled out a book to read. "Hmm. I wonder when Devinations is." he said to himself.

The wind was getting colder and colder as the year swept into October, holloween was approaching, and the Sixth Years were getting no where near to getting used to NonVerbal Spells, even Sario was having problems. By day, students were struggling with their homework and refusing to go out into the cold, but yet, the first quidditch match was coming up, Gryffindor Vs. Slytherin, and the two House Rivalrl strengthened. But as Ravenclaws, Sario and Cydonia were the only ones refusing to take sides, for they did not care for quidditch, instead, they were both just waiting for the Dueling League to start up again.

Gerard was very exited for devinations. He and sain walked upa long flight of stairs and into misty room that smelled very strongly of lilac perfume. "gahh! It smells awful in here" sain cried out. Gerard had never told anyone that devinations had a special significance to him. Ever since he was young he had noticed that he would get visions of things that wereto happen in the next few minutes. They happened randomly, but were always accurate. Besides the fact that he enjoyed the subject matter, he was very interested in learning a little bit about how to contro and regulate these visions.

After Devinations was over, Sain went to the field. It was time for Quidditch practice. As soon as the coach let out the stitch, I went zooming after it. After half an hour, he finally caught it. He flew down to the coach and gave her the stitch.

Later he went to the common room to sit down and read some more. As soon as he finished the book, It was time to go to sleep. He went to the Hufflepuff prefect and lied down in his bed.

Gerard had spent his afternoon down at the quidditch pitch getting a lok at the Hufflepuff team. Sain was the seeker, Gerard knew he was very good, but it took him longer than usual to catch the snitch. The rest of the team was very fast, but the chasers lacked accuracy when tring to shoot the quaffel. The beaters were average, and the keeper was very talented. It seemed like a great year to be a Hufflepuff Quidditch fan.

When Sain woke up, he went to the field again. Gerard asked him why he was so slow today. Sain said he was just tired.

Later that day, he went to go practice again, but this time he was a lot quicker. He caught the golden stitch in 10 minutes instead of 30. He was very proud of himself.

It was the first Monday before the first game, between Griffindor and Slytherin, and every teacher thought it best to lay off of homework for alittle while so the players could get practice.

All except for Gorre. Who, much to Sario's and Cydonia's pleasure, had finally decided to strat the Dueling League, scheduled for the Weekend after the game, and was not too keen on letting any of the Quidditch Players any time for practice, instead, he assigned more homework than usual to the players individually.

"I don't care, Sain. Besides, it's Griffindor and Slytherin that have all the trouble with it, they're playing first aren't they. Now, the werewolf essay better be handed to me by tomorrow morning, or it'll be double detention for lateness, as it would be the third time in a row that you did not turn in homework on the day it was due. Now get going, and stop badgering me." he would say angrily to any of the Quidditch Players, even the ones who aren't in the first game.

The day before the game, however, he had decided that he had given enough homework and let all the Quidditch players out of class early for practice, and he decided to let the remaining students have their time to sign up for the dueling league. Sario and Cydonia had already signed up.

"Wow, talk about rough." Sario had said after they passed a group of Slytherins and Gryffindors attempting to Jinx each other in the halls during one of their ominous free periods. "I had never seen so much tention, and for a lousy quidditch game."

Cydonia laughed and then said, "Well, it is the first one I guess."

-"You just don't understand it." Upcame a Hufflepuff boy that had caught what they were talking about and sped up to join their conversation, they recognized him as Sain, soon followed by Gerald.

"that's for sure" Roscuro says as he walks alongside them "mankind as a primal instinct to become obsessed with stupid things... just look at disco, by the way have you signed up for the dueling league yet, my name is James Roscuro"

"The name's Sario Ojima, and this is Cydonia, we were the first ones to sign up. And I guess you're right, people are driven to be obsessed with things. Even us with the Dueling League." Sario said, quite pleased to see someone in the dueling league.

"I told you for the last time!!" Came a very angry voice from down the hall, they had realised they passed by th D.A.D.A. classroom door, so they whelled around to see Professor Gorre shouting at Professor Flitwik. "I Don't need you telling me what spells are useful and what not. Now leave me the ruddy hell alone, if you know what's good for you. I have stuff to take care of and events to prepare for, and I tend to work best, undisturbed." He finalized his last statement with a sly and cruel, cold tone and FLitwik walked away, looking as if he had seen something quite worse than a werewolf.

"Wow, never seen anyone scare Flitwik like that. Gorre's one tough teacher if he can just do it without fear of being blasted into the wall and splattered like holey during Christmas." Sario said and Cydonia laughed, and they all finally split up, Sario, Cydonia, and Roscuro going down to the dungeons for Potions, and Sain and Gerald going up to History of Magic.

OOC: just a side note, its Gerard not Gerald:)

History of magic was Gerard's least favorite class. He would much rather be expiriencing magic than listening to a lecture about things other people did. He was very excited for the dueling league, he had signed up earlier that day.

Gorre scared him a lot, especially after his big blow up at Flitwik. He always looked annoyed, and sometimes tired too. After class, Sain accompanied Gerard to the library where they read and studied. Gerard was studying up on spells that he could possibly utilise in the dueling league.

At the library, Sain got another book to read. It was called, Magical Wizards. At first, Sain thought it was lame, but after seeing all the different Witches and Wizards, he was amazed!

After, Sain went to go sign up for the dueling league. He practiced spells with Gerard.

In the afternoon, Sario and Cydonia walked past yet another group of fueding students, but this time, they saw Sain and Gerard in the middle of it. They stopped and turned to the direction of the fued, Sain and Gerard seemed to be pointing their wands at a much larger, taller Ravenclaw sixth year they recognized as the Revenclaw Quidditch Captain, he did not have his wand out, instead, he was attempting to get out of the fued, but the circle of students around them seemed to want to keep him in. He was saying something like "But, Slytherin does have a better chance, why don't you agree."

"Wow, this is pathetic." Sario said quietly, to himself. But he couldn't resist the urge to witness a duel, but,...

"WHAT THE RUDDY HELL IS GOING ON HERE!!!" Boomed a horribly familiar, crual voice from behind them. Professor Gorre was walking straight towards them, wand out, and looking manacingly at the fued of students. No one dared to move away, or run from the scene. "Well? What is going on here?"

No one said anything again. He looked into the middle of the cicle to see Sain and Gerard pointing their wands at the Ravenclaw captain. "So, you thought it would be funny to start alittle duel, here, outside my office, at school. You five, come with me, everyone else." he added, maliciously, he waved his wand and said "Expecto Patronum" and 2 seperate silvery raven patronuses soared out into the air. "Ravenclaws, follow that one to Flitwik, where he'lldeal with you, and Hufflepuffs follow the other to Sprout." He said, and the patronuses soared to their destinations, with hordes of students following them. He led Sario, Cydonia, Sain, Gerard, and the Captain, who's name was Edgeley, to his office. He sat down behind his desk and said. "I'm afraid I'll have to give all five of you detention tomorrow. Dueling during school hours is not allowed, especially near a teacher's office door. Now, Mr. Edgeley, go to class, you four stay here." He said, and Edgeley left the room. "Now, I understand that you four are signed up for the Dueling League. If I catch you four making trouble again, I'll erase you from the list, it is a priviledge, don't throw it away so blantantly. Now get going, you will not be going down to Quidditch Tomorrow, instead, you'll be helping me and Hagrid build the Dueling Arena outside in the lake." And he ushered them out of the office.

Gerard was ashamed. If his parents got word of his unruliness, he would spend his summer locked in his bedroom. Sain was not happy either, and they both felt even worse because Sario and Cydonia were dragged into it too. The four of them walked solemnly towards the lake, where Gorre and Hagrid were already waiting.

"Shame you will be missing the Quidditch Match, but seeing how as Hagrid here, who loves watching Gryffindor Play, is also the Detention Supervisor. Now, you will be helping me do this, without magic. Let's get started." He finished.

It took nearly the entire day, but they finished it. Gorre was pleased with the work, and he decided that the four students, along with Hagrid too, diserved a bit of a reward for finishing the work so fast. He had expected it to take several days. He decided, that sense the Quidditch Match wasn't over yet, he'd take them down to the pitch to watch the remainder of the game. When they reached the pitch, the score was 160-30, Slytherin was winning. Hagrid had gruntly went to the Red and Gold supporters of Gryffinidor, Sain and Gerard to Hufflepuff's end, while Gorre sat with Sario and Cydonia in the neutral bend.

Sain was amazed by how well the game was. He was sad that Gryffindor wasn't winning though. So, Sain and Gerard made a cheer, "Go Gryffindor! Go Gryffindor!" they yelled.

In the end, Gryffindor still lost 200 - 130. Even though Gryffindor didn't win, it was a great match. He went to the library with Gerard to finish his book "Magical Wizards".

OoC: Actually, if Gryffindor Lost, it would be 310-130, or 200-180. The Snitch is worth 150 extra points, remember. Anyway.

Sario and Cydonia followed their way back to the castle. They reached the common room and slumped into a their favorite blue couch. There was no fire, but there was a very warm sense in the room, for it was near the Devinations room, and it was usually hot in there.

Gorre settled himself back into his office, and began to read his new book called "Legacy of the Pureblood". A book that lists all the Pureblood families and nearly everything about them. But as he flipped through it, loking for "Ojima" he stopped upon his own, just to look at it, and he went straight to "Ojima."

It read...

Ojima Pureblood Family. Founded: 1567

Founder: Arcturus Edgeley Ojima. First Appointed Head of Magical Works and Spellcasting, of Ministry of Magic in London, Briton.

Ojima Family Crest: ayps3t.jpg.

Gorre looked at the Family Crest more closely, he noticed the letterings "F" and "S".

"Hmmm, What could F.S. stand for and who is Labor Omnia Vincit?. Anyway." And he read on.

History:

The Ojima Family has been known through out the wizarding world sense 1567, with the founder being Arcturus Edgeley Ojima, inventer of the Impendiment Jinx and the Animagus Process. Being the gifted Wizard as he is, Ojima 1st made a hobby, as well as a habit, of inventing a series of spells, most of which, were not invented to show the Ministry of magic, and therefore, Illegal. Including the Solaris Charm, who's function is still yet to be known today....but the rest of the page seemed to be worn out so much, that the words were not readable at all, and it seemed to want to stay that way for it would not be fixed, even by magic.

"Solaris Charm. Interresting...." Gorre said quietly to himself, he put the book back into his desk cabinet, and decided to go to sleep.

Gerard had a bad feeling that night. He tossed and turned in his bed. The little sleep he did get was full of horrific nightmares of green light, and screaming. They were just dreams...right? He woke up in the morning with a cold sweat. He felt awful. Slowly he went down to the great hall for breakfast. He was dizzy now....spinning....falling...He passed out, laying slumped over his breakfast plate.

Sario did not get much sleep either. He had the same dream as he did on the train, except this time, much longer. He woke up, sweat drenched, and his back painfull, he had fallen off his four-poster bed. he stood up, climped out of the Boy's Dormintory, and tried to sleep on the couch for the remainder of the night. Cydonia soon shook him awake, but they did not go down to breakfast. Instead, they remained up in the common room for half the day. When hunger finally took them around lunch time, they went down to the great hall, only to find out that Gerard had been in the hostital wing sense morning because he passed out on his breakfast plate.

"He must have been very tired." Sario said.

Gorre had arrived in the Great Hall in the middle of Lunch Time and decided to eat as well. He too looked as though he had no sleep, well less than he usually did.

"Are you feeling okay, Professor? You look Ill." McGonigall said concernly, as he sat down upon his own chair.

"I'm alright, Minerva, just didn't get much sleep last night." He said, his voice sounding hoarse, it's tone was completely gone.

"Well, be sure to get as much sleep as you can, it gets very busy over here. Say, has Professor Grimm been keeping up with that Potion you're supposed to be drinking?"

"Yes, he has, he makes me drink it once a week, thank you." He said.

"Good."

Gerard still felt woosy. While he was in the hospital wing, several people including Sain came to visit him. Madame Pomfrey wasn't exactly sure what was wrong with him. Anyway, she had released him by noon. Now he made his way to Care of Magical Creatures class. Hagrid didn't show them any animals, he just had them build large nest-like mounds made of sticks. He said that they would find out what they were for later in the year, when his "shipment" as he called it, came in. After that he relaxed by the lake, close to the new dueling arena that he had helped build. People came up to him all day if he was okay. It actually got very annoying.

OoC: Just to let you know, frohawkmaster, I don't plan to have the reason for the nightmares be you. I already have an idea on what Fate I will give Sario, as well as Gerard. And I'm sorry to say, that the fates have nothing to do with your Shaman Powers.

During the last D.A.D.A. class before the Christmas Holidays, Gorre was being rather less like himself, he had succumb to the fact that it was almost Christmas and it was the last class of the final day of term. So, he had decided to take his last class down to the Dueling Arena, and let them all duel each other. And, for the first time sense the start of term, Gorre was actually smiling, enjoying the sight of so many students, just having fun.

Sario, however, did not feel like dueling during class. Instead, he and Cydonia walked on the surface of the frozen lake, and then choose a spot to lie down.

"I really wander why Gorre was absent from class last week. And didn't you notice, he's been absent atleast once a month, catchy isn't it." He said, while in the Great Hall during the next day. It was just him, Cydonia, Roscuro, Sain, and Gerard that decided to stay for the Holidays, so the House Tables were replaced by one long and single table, while the Teachers joined them on the far side of the table, speaking very animatedly.

Gerard did not want to go back home for the holidays, because his parents had been notified that he had gotten detention. He was relieved that he could stay at Hogwarts. The ceiling of the great hall gave the illusion that a light snow was falling. It was rather peaceful with just the five of them and the teachers. He thought back on his duel in DADA class. Gorre had paired him with Sain. They stepped to opposite sides of the dueling arena. It was long and well fought out, but Gerard had one after binding Sains legs with locomotor mortis and then finishing it with a well aimed stupefy.

A few teachers walked by them at the table, and McGonagal even came up to them to ask what they were going to do while in the nearly empty castle. "Ah, just hang around mostly. And I'll probably read." Gerard replied. Gerard had asked Madam Pomphrey for something that he could take before he went to bed eachnight that would help him fall asleep. She gave him an orange-colored mixture smelling strongly of carrots. He hoped this would help him sleep more peacefully.

"So where is Professor Gorre? I had the impression that he was staying for the Holidays as well." They heard Professor Trelawney say to the rest of the teachers.

"My dear Sybill, Vieron seems to have gotten ill once again." Mcgonigall said concernly.

"Ah, well. That Professor Gorre is a strange one, I dearly say. I went to try to visit him in the Hospital Wing last time he was ill, but he wasn't there." Trelawney replied.

"That is curios, Sybill, but I'm sure that Vieron preferrs to rest in his own office. But let's not talk about that now."

"Yes, well. Just so you know, Headmistress, when I tried to do a Crystal Gaze for him, he absolutely fled, remember poor old Professor Lupin? The same thing happened to him, I wander is Professsor.."

"... I am well aware of Professor Dumbledore's mistake with Lupin last time and I would never let another one of those into the school. Though I did respect Remus, he was a rather excellent teacher for the students, but I would never let another of his kind into the school. Now, can we drop the subject and eat our feast." And at the sound of that Trelawney sat down.

After the feast was over, both Sario and Cydonia got up first, with a huge squeel from the other side. "My Dear boy and girl, which one of you stood up first? Quickly!" Treylawney was the one who squeeled.

"Does it matter, will a Mad Axe man or a Basilisk come up to our beds tonight and slaughter us?" Sario said, jokingly.

"I am quite sure that they are fine, Sybill, now, let us all retire to our Dormintories, and get some sleep. And have a very Happy Christmas." And everyone stood up and went to their Common Rooms and tried to go to bed.
