And the little cabin at the end of Spinnet's End Street lay calm and relaxed as the moonlight bathed the little cabin like a smooth lake. The silence was only broken as a faint, and yet surprisingly unheard, pop sounded in the night, without waking up anything on the peacful street, as a black cloaked and hooded figure materialized and twisted out of thin air with a swirling cloud of darkness. The stranger stood in the middle of the street, looking straight at the little cabin at the end, it's eyes concealed from the shadow of it's hood, as it did reveal a pale white hand, with long pointed fingers, and and withdrew a long black wand from it's cloak. Then the figure spoke to himself, in a deep and cold whisper, unheard by the neighbors. "It's time to end this."He strode his way to the far cabin, he reached the front door, looking at it with awe, thinking in his mind, So beautifully carved, but will not remain so. Then he raised his wand into the air, he felt the cool breeze and the wind swept at his hand, and he said in another whisper "Muffliato." He then turned his wand and pointed it at the door. The handle glowed bright orange, and blew the door off it's hinges. There was a terrible scream and a flashing green light filled the room instantly, when it deminished, a black haired women lay spread eagle on the floor in the middle of the first room. He heard a child's cry from up stairs. This kid is driving me crazy. He thought, he hated crying, he wanted this child to die now. He walked up the stairs and blew open the door with his wand. Another bright flash of green light and a loud thud, the body of the child's father lay dead on the bedroom floor, the child still crying. He stepped forward and pointed his wand at the crying baby, but something else caught his eye. Out of nowhere, with a very loud crack, another figure appeared out of thin air, with a long white cloak and hood concealing his face, but he spoke in a familiar tone. A deep yet calm tone. "You will do no harm to this child." The man said as he pointed his wand at the black cloaked stranger, who raised his wand threateningly, prepared to duel. "Get out of my way, fool. You dare attempt to contradict my power?" The stranger said in his deep and growled voice, angry that such a man would want to defend the child. "No, I will not permit you to harm anyone tonight." And he flourished his wand and the stranger did the same, both saying different incantations each."Avada Kadavra!""Solaris!"And with a great flash of golden light, a loud bang, and a a rumbling of the train as it began to slow down, as well with a great forceful shake, Sario Ojima opened his eyes slowly.A girl was shaking him awake."Hey, wake up. We're nearly at Hogwarts, you may want to get ready to get off the train." She said, her voice gentile and sweet. She was familiar because Sario had seen her at Hogwarts many times, she was in the same year as well as the same House of Ravenclaw as he was. She had silvery white hair, with violet tips that matched her eyes. Where as he had ash-black hair, tipped with alittle of white at the ends, his eyes a vivid purple, as was the girl's."Hey, you don't look very good. Maybe you should see Madam Pomphrey when we get to school." She said, looking at his sallow eyes."No, I'm alright. Just tired that all." He said, his voice deep, yet calm. "Who are you, I don't think I remember your name?""I'm Cydonia Crystal, me and you barely talk to each other. But I see you in the common room alot, you're usually reading or playing with your wand, or feeding your dog." She answered back."Oh, well it's actually a wolf. Her name is...""I know, it's Ino-Koa, and you're Sario Ojima." She interrupted him."Yeah.""Come on, we're going to be arriving at Hogsmeade Station pretty soom. Me and you should talk more at school. You seem pretty lonely all the time, you don't ever talk to anyone do you?" She said sympathetically, he started to feel very comfortable of her presense because of her calm and gentile voice. As she helped him sit up, he also noticed that she had soft hands, but cold."You're hands are cold." He pointed out."Yeah, I was practicing the freezing charm with some people, they kicked me out of the compartment when I couldn't remove the charm." She said quite pleasantly, he was starting to like this feature as well."All you need to do is say 'Finite' and the charm will go away." He said."Oh thanks. I always wondered what it was. I remember learning it last year in Flitwik's class but I guess I forgot it." She said cheerfully."You mind helping me pack some of this stuff up?" He indicated the books, his quills, ink bottle, and his notebook the spread across the seat opposite of him."Sure!" She responded, again cheerfully, and they both managed to get the stuff back into his trunk. "Thanks. I guess I'll see you around school?" Sario said sliding open the compartment door."Oh, why don't we go up to the castle together. We can talk while in the carrieges." She said very cheerfully again. "Okay! Why, your friends not friends anymore?" "No, it's just that, you seem very lonely, and you shouldn't have to walk up to school all alone.""Oh, that's very nice of you. I guess we can." He said. Davok
A boy sat in pitch black robes as he looked at the passing countryside coldly. His eyes were black, like pebbles, smooth and merciless, with his pitch black hair falling down over his eyes. His pale hand clutched his trunk. No one had entered his booth, mostly because of fear. The boy liked that. He didn't like outsiders. Vivian di Darko picked up his wand, the wand he almost lost and sent to Azkaban for it because he used a Sectumsepra curse on a Muggle. He had it coming. He then heard an announcement. ``We will arrive in Hogwarts in a few moments. Be packed and ready.'' Vivian observed the countryside crossing the magic barrier and entering Hogsmeade Station. He looked outside of his compartment seeing a bunch of excited and giggling first years. Vivian hated them. They were all so stupid, foolish and ignorant, not knowing the hell hole for this school was. But, it was either Hogwarts of Azkaban, and Vivian had chosen Hogwarts. He stood up as the train entered Hogsmeade Station. It was time to go.
Careless Whisper
Sario and Cydonia walked out of the train and towards the carriages. The ymanaged to get a carriage alone.Sario seemed very please to have her with him. Her hand quickly warmed up, so it felt like a soft and gentile hand should feel like. "You know, Sario, first Hogsmeade trip is actually pretty early, it's the third Saturday, maybe me and you can go together." She said, rather flirtly. He was liking her more and more as she spoke."Sounds like fun." he said. He was still thinking about the strange dream he had on the train. Who were those two men, one of them was trying to kill an innocent child. But why? While the other one, the one who seemed to sound so familiar, yet he was still unknown, was trying to protect the innocent child, with a spell that Sario had actually recognized as one that he,himself, liked to use. If only he could have seen the man's face, he might have been able to tell who it was. "Sario, are you okay?" Cydonia's voice came to him, she sounded worried as she placed a hand on the side of his face. "I'm fine, I had a wierd dream while sleeping on the train." He answered quite uncertainly, reaching up to grasp the her consoling hand. "But I can worry about it later."
Davok
Vivian hopped on the carriage behind Sario and Cydonia. No one tried to sit with him, so Vivian was alone in the carriage. He stared at the Thestrals drawing the carriages. He had never seen them before, but he had read much about them. The carriage road up to Hogwarts. A cloaked figure grunted and stepped into another carriage. His face was covered, and he had pale skeleton skin, like a phantom. He had dark green robes: The sign of Slytherin. The coach rode up and the carriages headed for Hogwarts.
Careless Whisper
Sario was still contemplating on the two spells that he had seem in the dream. He had decided to recount the dream to Cydonia. When he finished telling her about it, she covered her mouth with her hand, in a girly way, and said "I know about the Killing Curse, but I have never heard of the other one. What was it again?" "It was the Solaris Curse. It's a curse that reflects the energy of the spell or person it hits and do something different to their mind, depending on what you concentrate on. I use it sometimes, but I don't believe that I have mastered it completely, it requires an intense amount of magic behind it, and alot of concentration. If done incorrectly, you can damage your mind." He warned. "Hmm. Sounds interresting, and also very advanced magic. Where did you learn it?""It just came naturally to me, I don't know why." he said, he had never actually read it in a book or anything, he just knew it sense birth, or so he assumed. The carrieges slowed down, and stopped in front of the castle. Both he and Cydonia, also a Gryffindor in his year, Sario noticed, along with a Pale Slytherin boy, soon followed. They made their way to the Great Hall, and sat at the Ravenclaw House tabe, awaiting the First-Years to arrive. Both Sario and Cydonia sat together. Cydonia, who Sario was so comfortable with that he might just actually have the first true friend of his life with, gripped his arm and laid her head on his shoulder, both of them waiting for McGonigall to rise and give the speech. Davok
Vivian gritted his teeth, looking at the mob of first-years. Even the other Slytherin boys had moved as far away from him as possible. He regarded the Ravenclaw table, where he saw a boy and a girl sitting side by side. ``Sario Ojima.'' Vivian said in disgust. ``And advanced wizard, knows powerful spells... bah!'' He then noticed the girl beside him, gripping his arm. ``Love.'' Vivian spat out bitterly as if the very word defiled his tongue. ``Worthless. Sario should know better. Love always end in...'' he then noticed the Potions Master, Grimm. He was an old man, with white hair crossing his brow and a black beard going down like a wet dog. He had black pebble-like eyes, and he was sweating and nervous. Grimm had defended Vivian during the trial of him killing a Muggle, and risked his job doing so. The devotion of the teacher amused Vivian. Suddenly he saw a bunch of Slytherin boys passing a newspaper, the Daily Prophet around and looking and pointing at Vivian. Walking up to the boys, Vivian snatched the newspaper from them and looked on the front page. The headlines said: ``Muggle Killer Released: An Unfair Trial?'' with a picture of him below, scowling. Throwing the newspaper back to the Slytherins, Vivian snorted in disgust. Regarding the Ravenclaw table, Vivian saw someone pass the newspaper to Sario. Careless Whisper
Sario merely looked at the paper and said "Hmmm, Convicted Muggle Killer released. Interresting." There was a sound of tipping glass, after all the first-years were sorted and Professor McGonigal finally stood up from her throne-like chair and made her way to the podium. But when she reached the podium, the doors to the Great Hall bursted open with so much force and speed that it was highly unbelievable that they could possibly move that fast, also making everyone in the Hall jump. A man, with blackened hair, wet and sulked over one eye, other revealed eye shined a deep a light purple. His robes were very shabby looking, but his expression was among the angriest and most serious Sario had ever seen in his life. The man made his way to the front of the Great Hall. He was rather slender, his black cloak billowing behind him. "Students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, welcome back by the way, but I'd like you all to meet your new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Gorre." McGonigall sounded from the podium, she souded quite scared of the man.Gorre simply just looked around at the students, no one clapped, everyone looking timid, and some even terrified.Sario sat, open mouthed, looking at Gorre. At last, Gorre reached the front of the hall, he made one final scan over the hall's students, and sat down beside the Potion's Master, Grimm. HelioSpark
Gerard LeBlanc was very pleased to be back at Hogwarts. After an entire summer holed up in Paris, he was finally free. At Hogwarts he was somebody, people noticed him. He took a seat at he Hufflepuff table and gazed around the great hall. Sario and Cydonia sitting together? hm.....he took a mental note of that. He liked to know as much as he could about everyone. Next his eyes wandered to the Slytherin table. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary...oh ..Vivian. "What a strange kid" he muttered to himself. Even his own house wasn't fond of him. The food appeared on the table as he was pondering. He turned around quickly, he was afraid that the plump fellow next to him would chow down everything in sight. Gerard began to load his plate, and as he did, he thanked fate for bringing him to Hogwarts for what he hoped would be a great year.
Careless Whisper
Sario and Cydonia decided to not worry too much about the new teacher, for the food had finally appeared infront of them. For the entire meal, Sario and Cydonia mainly talked about themselves. When they had enough to eat, Cydonia decided to try to mess with Sario's hair, who was enjoying himself for once. This was beginning to be a good year already. Gorre continued to scan the room, until McGonigall came to him, to talk to him about something, he was quite annoyed with this. "Now, thanks you so much for filling in for the job Professor Gorre." She said politely."It's no problem at all. You don't need to thank me at all. I have stuff to teach, and that's all I need to do." He caught the potions-master's eye out of the corner of his, he then said. "And what do you want?" He said very threateningly. OOC: Do not end the feast until everyone has done their introes, you can still keep going though.
Whitey
Soon later, Sain walked in the room. He looked at the wonderful feast. He couldn't believe his eyes! So much food! It looked so good! He plopped down a seat next to Sario and Cydonia. He said "Hi" to them and began to eat. This was starting to be the best year yet. The food was delicious and his friends were great. As he ate he took out a spell book to practice his spells. He quietly said each spell in there.
Nexev
Roscuro enters the great hall and notices Sario and Cyndia "Well, Well, looks like love is in the air" his pet Legion whispers. Then he notices Vivian and silently activates the Discover Motives charm on him, suddenly his mind is swept with so many visions of hate that he goes outside to puke then feeling much better decides to sit next to the two lovebirds and eat (despite being a second year, he doesn't know Sario or Cyndonia)
Careless Whisper
Sario did not pay attention to Roscuro nor Sean, he had finished eaten, as did Cydonia. McGonigall finally stood up, and ushered them all to bed finally.Sario and Cydonia followed the Ravenclaw prefects to the Common Room, but when they got there, the question was too hard for the prefects, so Sario had to answer it correctly for them. He always knew the answers to the Common Room, he claimed them easy, but it gets harder depending on what year the student is in. Gorre stood up slowly, but he was held up by Professor Flitwik, who was very kean on speaking with him about the appropriate methods of discipline. "Shove off, McGonigall told e everything." He said fiercely. He finaly reached his new office and began to prepare for the next day's lessons.
Ferro
Ferro had finished eating and was getting ready to leave. He walked up with the gryfinddor prefect and waited for him to saythe password. HelioSpark
Gerard was having trouble getting any decent rest because someone in the room was snoring very loudly. He decided to take out his journal and write an entry about the day. He took out his wand and muttered "lumos" so he could have a bit of light to see with. "Hey, turn out that light!". Obviously that wasn't going to happen. Then, he was jolted by a loud noise that came fom somewhere above. "I wonder what that was" he said. Careless Whisper
Sario fell asleep instantly, he was wondering about his dream on the train, but when he closed his eyes, he drifted off somewhere else. Someone was shaking him, the sun strung his eyes as he opened them. Cydonia's voice rang to him as everything came to focus. "Finally, I thought I was going to have to keep shaking you for another hour. Come on, let's head down to breakfast, before it ends. So we can get our course schedule. They both walked down to the Great Hall, though Sario was not really wanting to eat. He was thinking about his new dream, a dream of a white wolf that looked rabid and prune to strike and then he woke up. When the course schedules were handed out, he noticed he had 3 free periods to study and he was also clear to continue Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, Herbology, and Defence Against the Dark Arts, seeing his O.W.L.s coming as he had barely scapped an E in Potions, and he had O's in the other classes he was continueing. He also noticed, that Cydonia was in all his classes. Good, we can work together. he thought quite pleased.
Davok
Vivian looked at his schedule bored. Stuffing the paper into his pocket, Vivian walked down the corridor, barely finishing his breakfast. Then he remembered that Slytherin was in Potions today with Ravenclaw. Moving down the corridor to the dungeons, Vivian stepped into the room. He was five minutes late. Three Ravenclaws were staring at him and Vivian scowled. ``What are you looking at?'' and he sat down on the farthest side of the room. To his dismay, Sario and Cydonia were on the table next to him. ``A-all right.'' the Potions Master, Grimm stuttered, unnerved by the appearance of Vivian. ``Let Potions begin.'' Careless Whisper
Sario and Cydonia were the only ones who did not look when Vivian walked in, instead they continued to work on the potion assigned, which was surprisingly Wolfsbane, which would keep a werewolf tame during transformation. Sario had questioned about this potion but all Grimm said was that it was required for a potioneer to know ow to make it incase they are thinking about taming a werewolf. Which, in alot of sense, Sario took has the professor's minacle humor.
Whitey
Sain was tired after a long feast, so he went to the Hufflepuff prefect and set down his stuff. He slammed into his bed, trying to sleep, but something was keeping him awake. There was a weird creaking noise coming from the ceiling. He wished he had some earplugs, but then all of a sudden, some earplugs appeared right in front of him! He put them on and quietly slept like a baby. HelioSpark
Gerard had gotten almost no sleep. He had lain awake all night listening to the odd noise from above, wishing he had earplugs. Slowly he exited the Huffle puff common room. He half walked half sleptwalked down to breakfast and barely had the energy to put the food into his mouth. He gazed at his schedule; he had Herbology with the Gryffindors now. He stared off into space through the whole class, not even noticing when it was time to gather for a demonstration or recieve a test plant. After class he went to his study. On his way there he passed a group of student coming up from the dungeons, probably from potions. Sario and Cydonia were among them, and so was a solemn looking Vivian. While he was looking at the group Mcgonagall rushed past, scattering all of Gerards books on the floor. "geez" he said. "What's wrong with her?" Whitey
Slowly, Sain began to wake up. He looked at the clock. "Oh no! I'm late for class!" he yelled. He ran to the classroom with his books almost slipping out of his hands, but when he got there, it was empty. Class was already over! He decided to go study with Gerard, so he slumped down next to Gerard. He began to open his book when Mcgonagoll came rushing down the hall again. She knocked Sain's books right out of his hands. Sain went to go pick up his books and said, "Man. This school is weird."
Careless Whisper
Sario and Cydonia made their way to Defence Against the Dark Arts, they had it with the Hufflepuffs, and this was going to be Professor Gorre's first class. When they entered the room, it was so dark, that the only light there was, was artificial moonlight seeming to come down from top of the cealing. They took their seats and started to take out their books called "Tactical Darkness Defence" and took out parchment and quills and ink bottles. One of the Hufflepuffs were trying to find his ink bottle, and by the time he found it in his bag and placed it on the table, Gorre sounded from the back of the room that it made the Hufflepuff spill his entire ink bottle onto the floor, no one had heard him come in. "Put away your stuff, you only need wands. Tergeo!" He finished pointing his wand at the ink stain on the floor, and it dried up instantly. "You better have a spare ink bottle for your next class." He finished and he walked up to the front of the room, but he didn't put his wand away. He turned and said, "I understand that this class is made up of Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs. If so, than this class, based on the House Characteristics, shouldn't be too far behind all the others, sense Ravenclaw should be intelligent and learn quick, while the Hufflepuffs should be doing what they're told. Now..." he paused, looked around the room, with a stern look, and then he said "Let's get rid of these tables for now." And he waved his wand, and all the tables flew up and stacked themselves against the wall. The hufflepuff that spilled the ink earlier was nearly launched off his seat. "Now, everyone take out your..." But he was interrupted by a noise in his office. It sounded very muffled, and it sounded like a scream. he looked at the door, but the screaming stopped. "Funny, I don't ever go in there, must be something your previous D.A.D.A. teacher forgot to take home with him or her. Now, take out your wands, we will practice these today." And he waved his wand at the blackbaord, and the words NonVerbal Spells scribbled themselves onto the surface. "Non-Verbal Spells, incatations without saying a single word. Now, what's the advantage for this...Ah, and you would be?" He finished pointing his wand at Sario, who had his hand raised. "You're opponent wouldn't be able to tell what spell you'de be doing next, giving you the element of surprise. My name's Sario Ojima by the way.""Ah, a perfect answer, and..." He looked down at the a sheet of paper on his desk that looked like a roster and said, "...it says in your bio, that you have quite a dueling record. Being in the dueling league, winning first place in last year's tournament and earning his House 300 House Points for advanced Dueling against the Previous D.A.D.A. teacher, and winning. Quite an achievement, but..." And he looked up, with malice in his eyes as he looked up at Sario, "I have an idea for you, our first demonstration. Let's see, I'd like you to come up to the middle of the room please." Sario walked to the center where he was indicated, "And, I'll need 2 more volunteers." He added, and several people, including several Hufflepuffs, and every Ravenclaw, except Cydonia. "You two." Added, pointing at Gerald and Cydonia, the only ones who didn't raise their hands. "Now, you two, teaming up together, are going to duel against Sario here." Cydonia looked frightened, Sario very bewildered. "Don't ask questions until the duel is over, this should be short, so you can be patient. Now BEGIN!" And Cydonia instantly drew her wand, same with Gerald, but Sario, reacting instinctively, was too fast for both of them."Protego!" He said, pointing his wand, as they both cried "Expelliarmus!!" at the same time. But both of their wands didn't go anywhere, Sario didn't direct the shield charm to reflect the spells, but his next move surprised the entire class. He pointed, not his wand, but his other hand, which was empty, at his two oppoents and yelled, "Patrificus Totalus!!" and both, Cydonia's and Gerald's bodies locked up and fell to the floor with a loud thuf, but Sario waved his wand and said "Siphilia!" And Cydonia landed gently onto the floor instead of roughly.
Whitey
Sain watched as the battle went on. It was incredible! Sario was defeating not only one person, but two! He was really skilled! As Sario did his amazing spells, Sain tiredly began to fall asleep. He didnt get much sleep last night, due to the noise in the ceiling. As soon as he woke up, everyone was looking at him. Sain was so embarrassed! He tried to hide his head under his jacket. He took out his wand and started doing some weird spells. "See! I was listening the whole time!" he said sharply. Nexev
interesting, you think he is a shaman too (there are several shamans and Roscuro is looking for them) nope he is too overconfident...and obviously never used a ritual in his life, probably never even talked to a ghost (i forgot that shamans can summon spirits even if their not ghosts and a shaman faces many horrors in their dreams which is why Sario looks to overconfident, as since they can talk to spirits nightmares often try to hijack their body causing the shamans to never be so sure that they are perfect, another reason shamans stronger than wizards, constantly fighting so much practice)
Careless Whisper
Gorre raised his wand, and both defeated duelers were released from the Body-bind Curse. Sario mouthed the words 'Sorry' to Cydonia and she nodded in acceptance. "That was interresting. Not only did you use speed to execute your spellwork, but you also managed to channle magic through your hand, very advanced magic. A Family trait I presume?" He asked Sario."Yeah, but I didn't learn it directly from them, they both left it on parchment for me to learn from, it came pretty naturally to me.""Interresting. Alright, well. Let the lesson begin." Gorre said. During the next two monthes, it was all the same. In Transfiguration, they were working on transforming animals into books. In defence against the dark arts, they were required to learn how to defend themselves against a number of dark creatures, the most from dementors, which required a boggart and a Fear-Changing Charm. In Charms, Transfiguration, and D.A.D.A., they were practicing with nonverbal spells. And in potions, they were continueably adding incredience to their Wolf's Bane potion, until it was ready to stew for about two monthes and then they began making potions out of the text book. During one of their free periods, Sario and Cydonia journeyed down to the lake to watch the giant squid, the first Hogsmeade Weekend was coming up and they both planned a little date to The Three Broomsticks for some Butterbeer and Firewhiskey.
