cr47t
Pot of Generation Continuous Spell You can only control 1 "Pot of Generation". During each player's End Phase, place 1 Generated Counter on this card (max. 5.) (Quick Effect), you can send this card with 2 or more Generated Counters on this card to the GY; draw cards equal to the number of Generated Counters this card had on the field -1, and if you do, you cannot draw cards by card effects for the rest of this turn, also you cannot activate "Pot of Generation" for the rest of this Duel after this effect resolves. If this card with less than 2 Generated Counters on it is removed from the field due to another card's effect, and is now in the GY or banished: You can draw 1 card, and if you do, you cannot activate "Pot of Generation" or its effects for the rest of this Duel. ---- Just an idea I had remembering Shard, and wondering how it could be made more viable in the meta while still being rounded (i.e. not a new Maxx C.) Any thoughts welcome EDIT: Thought I was posting in Casual Cards, but seeing as this is an attempt to make a rounded card, I don't mind. That being said if an admin wants to move it to Casual that's fine with me.

Before that, I'd like to mention, I'm concerned about that (Quick Effect). I have a faint memory (so I might be wrong) of advising you against it in a previous creation, because (Quick Effects) are 100% restricted to monster effects. That being the case, the only (non-experimental) way to include a Quick-Like effect in a Spell with Spell Speed 1 such as a Continuous one, would be to do something like Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins's bullet effect 3. As you can see, it "reacts" to something, so you're able to respond to it. In this card, I suppose the intent is to be able to apply the effect when the opponent decides to try to pop it. It brings a lot of trouble to the wording, tbh. If we made it Quick-Like, it'd have to react to something (probably), and it'd lose a simple Ignition capability. Solution? Either remove the Quick-Like effect or make it cheap lol, and with this I mean the condition you will see below: You can only control 1 "Pot of Generation". Once per turn, during each player's End Phase: Place 1 Generated Counter on this card (max. 5). When a card effect is activated, or a monster is Summoned: You can send this card with 2 or more Generated Counters on it to the GY; draw cards equal to the number of Generated Counters this card had on the field -1, and if you do, you cannot draw cards by a card effect for the rest of this turn. You cannot activate "Pot of Generation" for the rest of this Duel after this effect resolves. If this card with less than 2 Generated Counters on it leaves the field by another card effect and is now banished or in the GY: You can draw 1 card, and if you do, you cannot activate "Pot of Generation" or its effects for the rest of this Duel. Maaan, these deadly OPD clauses xD Notes: Effects that happen on the Standby/End Phase require the number of times per turn specification, otherwise you could activate the effect 1 million times. I also looked at effects with this structure to be sure and they activate (hence, they use colon). Then comes the solution to keep the Spell Speed 2 of this effect. As I said, cheap, you can literally chain this effect to just about any card activation, making it fairly safe to use. Yellow text is a second option to make it even more flexible, but feel free to remove if deemed unnecessary. With this structure, however, it also becomes an activated effect that can be countered, but you can't always have everything lol. The rest are minor details. I must confess some of the OPD clauses make me a bit uncomfortable in the wording, but I'd say they're ok. They're pretty specific in what they want to prevent, so it's not like you can use the generic "You can only use this/each effect of X once per Duel", so yeah. DifferentDimensionVanessa
This card reminds me of Wave-Motion Cannon. Ages ago it was relevant and I'm not just talking about Goat Format.
