Radiant Beast Archetype (10/10) - Light Bit of Discarding

Radiant Beast is an archetype of LIGHT monsters with various Types and Levels. They focus on Fusion Summoning and discarding, and controlling no Spells/Traps, and their main playstyle revolves around discarding their own archetype for a bonus effect on top of the other effect they gain from discarding normally. They also tend to focus on DEF rather than ATK, so Formation allows them to attack in Defense Position.

There isn't really much of a theme this time around, it's mostly just me wanting to make a LIGHT discard thing, and this is what ended up happening. It's also been a fair bit since my last archetype, so I am probably rusty.

If this card is sent to the GY because it was discarded or used as a material for a Fusion Summon: You can add 1 "Radiant Beast" card from your Deck to your hand. If this card is in your hand or GY: You can discard 1 card; Special Summon this card in face-up Defense Position, then if you discarded a "Radiant Beast" card, draw 1 card OR Fusion Summon 1 LIGHT Fusion Monster using monsters from your hand or field as material, including this card. If this card is discarded: You can Special Summon 1 LIGHT monster from your hand, then if you Special Summoned a "Radiant Beast" card, you can add this card to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Radiant Beast Melder" once per turn.

If you discarded a "Radiant Beast" card while this card was in your hand or GY: You can Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can target 1 "Radiant Beast" card in your GY; add it to your hand, then discard 2 cards, then for each "Radiant Beast" card discarded, inflict 500 damage to your opponent. You can only use each effect of "Radiant Beast Flare" once per turn.

If you control no Spells/Traps: You can Special Summon this card in face-up Defense Position, also you cannot Special Summon monsters, other than "Radiant Beast" monsters for the rest of this turn. You can discard up to 2 cards, then target the same number of cards your opponent controls; for each "Radiant Beast" monster discarded, destroy that many that many targets, also, after that, return the rest of the targets to the hand. You can only use each effect of "Radiant Beast Bright" once per turn

Fusion Summon 1 LIGHT Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Material. If you used only "Radiant Beast" monsters, that monster gain 500 ATK/DEF and cannot be destroyed by your opponent's effects. If a "Radiant Beast" card is discarded while this card is in your GY, other than "Radiant Beast Fusion": You can add this card to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Radiant Beast Fusion" once per turn.

2+ LIGHT monsters
If this card is Fusion Summoned: Gain 500 LP for each of those monsters, also, after that, for each "Radiant Beast" monster, negate the effects of face-up cards your opponent controls. (Quick Effect): You can shuffle this card into your Extra Deck, then target 2 non-Fusion LIGHT monsters in your GY with different Levels; Special Summon them in face-up Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Radiant Beast Mystery" once per turn.

1 LIGHT monster + 1 Level 5 or higher "Radiant Beast" monster
If this card is Fusion Summoned using a Fusion Monster as material: You can destroy up to 3 cards your opponent controls. "Radiant Beasts" monsters you control can attack while in face-up Defense Position. If they do, apply their DEF for damage calculation. If this card would be destroyed, you can discard 1 card instead. If you discarded a "Radiant Beast" card, add it to your hand during the End Phase of that turn.

1 Fun little change that would be cool is instead of activating the Fusion spell normally, it activated in response to being discarded. Love the idea of this archetype, worried how hurtful ash and called by are to the game plan, but it would definitely be fun to mess around with. Also, the first Fusion monster's effect is a little unclear, are you referring to the materials used for its summon? One more cool idea is a fusion monster that activates in response to discarding cards and allows you to fusion summon by shuffling back those discarded cards. Lastly, a trap card that had a really good effect when discarded and a GY effect would be cool!

Sleepy just gave me a really good idea that I think would work well here to! Maybe instead of making the discard a cost that will happen even if the effect is negated for all of them, you can make the discard a mandatory part of the effect that precedes the other positive portion!

I don't feel like doing the work to change that
