Thomas Murrin-Armstrong
This is the Spell/Trap support for the Orichalcos archetype. See the prior posts for more info. SPELLS Orichalcos Matia [Normal Spell] Pay 500 LP: Add 1 “Orichalcos” card from your Deck to your hand. If an “Orichalcos” monster you control would be destroyed by battle or an opponent’s card effect, you can banish this card from your GY instead. You can only use each effect of “Orichalcos Matia” once per turn. Orichalcos Kalo [Ritual Spell] This card can be used to Ritual Summon any “Orichalcos” Ritual Monster. You must also tribute monsters from your hand or field, and/or banish “Orichalcos” monsters from your GY, whose total Levels exactly equal the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. If this card is banished, during the Standby Phase of the next turn: You can add this banished card to your hand. TRAPS Dimensional Seal [Continuous Trap] Neither player can Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except “Orichalcos” monsters. If you do not control a face-up “The Seal of Orichalcos”, destroy this card. If this card is banished, during the Standby Phase of the next turn: You can shuffle this banished card into the Deck, add 1 “Orichalcos” card from your deck to your hand. Dark Release [Counter Trap] When a monster(s) would be Special Summoned, or a monster effect is activated: Special Summon 1 “Orichalcos Kyutora” from your Deck or GY; negate the Summon or activation, and if you do, destroy that card. During your End Phase: Tribute 1 monster you control or take 1000 damage. Gorgon’s Trap Hole [Normal Trap] When a monster you control is destroyed by battle or by card effect: Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; banish that target. If the destroyed monster is an “Orichalcos” monster, you can activate this card the turn it was Set. You cannot declare attacks the turn you activate this card, except with “Orichalcos” monsters. Orichalcos Katara [Continuous Trap] During either player’s turn, when a card or effect is activated that targets exactly 1 “Orichalcos” monster you control (and no other cards): Target another card that would be an appropriate target; that card/effect now targets the new target. During the End Phase: You can target 1 of your banished cards; shuffle that target into the Deck. You can only use each effect of “Orichalcos Katara” once per turn. DifferentDimensionVanessa
Dimensional Seal is really neat. Floodgate that makes the game centered around having to destroy The Seal of Orichalcos, as the Orichalcos is meant to be, originating in the anime. The entire time I was reading this post the OST for the Seal of Orichalcos was playing in my head.
