Tinkerer
Quote 2+ monsters, including a "Vaylantz" monster When this monster is Link Summoned: You can target 1 "Vaylantz" monster in your Extra Deck; place it face-up in your middle Spell/Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell. If a card on the field is Special Summoned to a Zone this card points to, or if a card on the field moves to a Zone this card points to: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; place it in the Spell/Trap Zone in the same column as a Continuous Spell (if the zone is occupied, destroy the target instead). You can move this card to a Main Monster Zone it points to (if there is a monster in that Zone, swap Zones with that monster). You can only use each effect of "Larvaylantz Disulcataedes" once per turn. ...man, I had a whole write-up comparing this to the new fusion and then the edit decided to break at the last moment. *sigh* In short, though I am still quite confused at how Vaylantz is supposed to work exactly, I was pleasantly surprised that my instincts were spot-on when designing this card. Both have position swapping effects (which is distinctive as none of the previous Vaylantz cards SWAPPED positions, just moved), and both have destruction effects (though this one is more conditional). This card has weaker effects and a slightly heftier, though less conditional, summoning condition than the fusion, but in exchange, it opens up very easy access to the Link-4 pool which can give Vaylantz some much more definitive tools than its current arsenal.
