If this card on the field is banished: You can return all monsters banished this turn to the bottom of your Deck in any order; Special Summon 1 "Soulviathan" monster from your Extra Deck, then, if you returned 3 or more monsters, you can Special Summon 1 additional "Soulviathan" monster from your Extra Deck. HOPT. 100/500 Soulviathan 2 DARK * Sea Serpent/Effect You can banish this card from your GY; Set 1 "Spirit Elimination" from your hand or Deck. If this card on the field is banished: You can return all monsters banished this turn to the bottom of your Deck in any order; draw 1 card, then, if you returned 3 or more monsters, you can add 1 "Soulviathan" monster from your Deck to your hand. HOPT. 100/1000 Soulviathan 3 DARK * Sea Serpent/Effect You can banish this card from your GY; send 1 "Soulviathan" monster from your Deck to the GY. If this card on the field is banished: You can return all monsters banished this turn to the bottom of your Deck in any order; Special Summon 1 "Soulviathan" monster from your Deck, then, if you returned 3 or more monsters, you can send 1 "Soulviathan" monster from your Deck or Extra Deck to the GY. 100/1500 Soulviathan EX1 DARK 8* Sea Serpent/Fusion/Effect "Soulviathan 2" + "Soulviathan 3" This card gains 1000 ATK for each of your banished Sea Serpent monsters. OPT (QE): You can banish this card until the End Phase, and if you do, all battle damage you take this turn is halved. OPT: You can banish this card from your GY and target 1 monster you control; that target can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each. If a monster you control is banished while this card is in the GY: You can target 1 face-up card on the field; negate its effects. 100/3000 Soulviathan EX2 DARK 5* Sea Serpent/Synchro/Effect "Soulviathan 1" + 1+ non-Tuner monster This card gains 800 ATK for each of your banished Sea Serpent monsters. OPT (QE): You can target 1 "Soulviathan" monster in your GY; Special Summon that target, but banish it when it leaves the field, also, banish this card until the End Phase. OPT: You can banish this card from the GY and target 1 monster you control; that target gains 800 ATK for each banished Sea Serpent monster until the End Phase. If a monster you control is banished while this card is in the GY: You can add 1 "Spirit Elimination" or 1 "Soulviathan" Spell/Trap from your GY to your hand. HOPT. 100/2500 Soulviathan EX3 DARK R* Sea Serpent/Xyz/Effect 2+ Level 1 monsters This card gains 600 ATK for each Xyz Material. When this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 banished Sea Serpent monster or 1 Sea Serpent monster in the GY; attach it to this card as Material. OPT (QE): You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; until the End Phase, monsters that would be sent from the field to the GY are banished instead, also, banish this card until the End Phase. If a monster you control is banished while this card is in the GY: You can target 1 Spell/Trap on the field; destroy it. HOPT. 100/2000 Soulviathan EX4 DARK Links: S E Sea Serpent/Link/Effect 2 monsters, including a Sea Serpent monster This card gains 500 ATK for each of your banished Sea Serpent monsters. If this card is Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Soulviathan" monster from your Deck, then, banish 1 card you control. If a monster you control is banished while this card is in the GY: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; that target loses 1000 ATK. 100/LINK-2 Soulviathan Spell 1 Continuous Spell The first time a monster(s) you control would leave the field, banish it. The first time each turn your monster(s) is banished: You can send 1 Sea Serpent monster from your Deck to the GY; gain 800 LP. If a "Soulviathan" monster you control would be destroyed, you can send this card to the GY instead. You can only control 1 "Soulviathan Spell 1" Soulviathan Trap 1 Trap Special Summon up to 1 banished Sea Serpent monster and 1 Sea Serpent monster from your GY, but banish them when they leave the field. You can banish this card from the GY; add 1 "Spirit Elimination" from your Deck to your hand. Planned this archetype entirely around this card. Archetype is pretty incomplete though and lacks names as well as using my design shorthand. Any suggestion for name theme (or even a change to type/Attribute to go with a theme) would be really helpful! There's also the fact that I didn't exactly think about how these would play irl. This is meant to be a control deck with a constant cycling mix of resources that play out of the GY while explicitly caring about being banished. However, I haven't thought enough on whether they'd be able to get that point.. I might need to add some more play starters or something? Definitely needs some more tweaking.
