Brand new Archetype: The "ACCEL" Archetype is finished

Hey there guys!!! I finally finished this Archetype that I was working for weeks. Although, I'm pretty sure there could be some changes or new cards to add... I don't know. Anyway, as you are about to see, I photoshoped the artwork of each of the cards (as in, I took pictures and backgrounds from the internet and use photoshop to make the artwork), except the Field Spell, and 1 of the Continuos Traps.

NOTES:

  • This is a Xyz Archetype.
  • The "ACCEL" stands for 'Acceleration' or 'Accelerated'.
  • The Main Deck monsters have a greate variety of effects that consist of fast summoning in other to bring forth the Xyz Monsters sooner. Not to mention that they give the Xyz Monsters different effects when they are used as materials.
  • Because of the costant Normal and/or Special Summoning of these monsters, there's a higher risk of getting Nibirued because of it, that and the player could use these monsters to Tribute Summon a more powerful one. Which is why I gave every single monster from the Main Deck, the effect of not being able to be used as tributes (¡I AM NOT CHANGING THIS!).
  • Each "ACCEL Racer" and "ACCEL Warrior" Xyz Monster, has quick effects that would let them change places with each other. This is a way to prevent from being targeted by card effects.
  • The "ACCEL Armaments" are more for extra protection to the other Xyz Monsters when equiped, while also giving them the materials attached to them.

Machine/Effect

ATK/1400 - DEF/1000

Monster Effect:

Cannot be Tributed. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can discard 1 "ACCEL" monster from your hand; Special Summon 1 "ACCEL" monster from your Deck of the same Level as the discarded monster. A "ACCEL" Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card as material gains this effect.
* If this card is Special Summoned: Target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; that card cannot activate it's effect while this card is on the field.
You can only use this effect of "ACCEL Racer: V-Drive" once per turn.

Monster Effect:

Cannot be Tributed. When another "ACCEL" monster is Special Summoned to the field, while this card is in your hand or GY: You can Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. A "ACCEL" Xyz Monster that has this card attached to it as material gains this effect:
* Once per turn, this card cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects.
You can only use this effect of "ACCEL Racer: Shadow Rim" once per turn.

Monster Effect:

Cannot be Tributed. If you control 2 or more "ACCEL" monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 Level 4 or lower "ACCEL" monster from your Deck to your hand. A "ACCEL" Xyz Monster was Summoned using this card as material gains this effect.
* If this card is Xyz Summoned: Destroy cards on the field equal to the current amount of Xyz Materials attached to this card, and if you do, inflict 500 damage to your opponent x each one destroyed.
You can only use each effect of "ACCEL Racer: Burst Road" once per turn.

Cannot be Tributed. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Machine monster from your hand in Defense Position. During your Main Phase: You can target another Machine monster with a Level you control; increase or decrease it's Level by 1, and if you do, match this card's Level with the targeted monster's. A "ACCEL" Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card as material gains this effect.
* If this card is Xyz Summoned: You can target 1 card on your opponent's field; shuffle it into the Deck.
You can only use each effect of "ACCEL Racer: Swift Ace" once per turn.

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Machine monster from your Deck in Defense Position, but banish it when it leaves the field. A "ACCEL" Xyz Monster that has this card attached to it as material gains this effect.
* Unaffected by card effects until the end of the next turn.

Cannot be Tributed. You can Special Summon this card (form your hand), by sending 1 Machine monster from your Deck to the GY. During your Main Phase, you can reveal 1 "ACCEL" Xyz Monster in your Extra Deck: Send 1 Machine monster from your Deck to the GY whose Level is equal to the targeted monster's Rank. A "ACCEL" Xyz Monster that has this card attached to it as material gains this effect.
* When this card battles with an opponent's monster, this card gains 1000 ATK during damage calculation only.
You can only use each effect of "ACCEL Racer: Neon Warp" once per turn.

During your Main Phase: You can target 1 Machine monster in your GY; match this card's Level to the targeted monster's original Level/Rank until the end of this turn, and if you do, Xyz Summon a Machine monster from your Extra Deck with an equal Rank, by using this card as it's only material. A "ACCEL" Xyz Monster was Summoned using this card as material gains this effect.
* When Xyz Summoned: Your opponent cannot activate card effects until the end of this turn.
You can only use each effect of "ACCEL Racer: Kitty Wagon" once per turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except Xyz Monsters, the turn you activate this card's effect.

When your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card or effect while you control a "ACCEL" Xyz Monster (Quick Effect): You can send this card from your hand to the GY; negate that effect, and if you do, destroy that card. When a material is detached from a "ACCEL" Xyz Monster you control, while this card is in the GY: You can Special Summon this card in Defense Position. A "ACCEL" Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card as material gains this effect.
* When Xyz Summoned: You can target 2 cards on the field; return them to the hand.
You can only use each effect of "ACCEL Racer: Jetwing Foward" once per turn.

During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can detach 1 material from your Machine Xyz Monster; Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. A "ACCEL" Xyz Monster that has this card attached as material gains this effect.
* Once per turn: You can destroy 1 face-up card on your opponent's field.

A Xyz Monster equipped with this card gains 900 ATK and 700 DEF, and it cannot be targeted by card effects, except by "ACCEL" cards. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle or card effect, detach 1 material from the equipped monster instead, otherwise destroy this card. When this card is Xyz Summoned: You can target 1 "ACCEL" Xyz Monster in your GY; Special Summon it, and if you do, you can transfer up to 2 of these card's materials to the targetted monster. Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 Machine Xyz Monster you control; equip this card to that target, and if you do, transfer this card's materials to that monster, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it. A Xyz Monster equipped with this card gains 1000 ATK and 500 DEF, and it cannot be targeted by card effects, except by "ACCEL" cards. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle or card effect, detach 1 material from the equipped monster instead, otherwise destroy this card. If this card with no materials is sent to the GY, you can add 1 "Rank-Up-Magic" Spell from your Deck to your hand.

Once per turn, during your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can target 1 "ACCEL" Xyz Monster you control; attach this card to it as a material, and if you do, it gains this effect:
*When a card or effect is activated: You can detach 1 material from this card to negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card.

Once per turn, during your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can target 1 "ACCEL" Xyz Monster you control; attach this card to it as a material, and if you do, the targeted monster gains this effect:
* Once per turn: You can reveal the top card of your Deck. If the revealed card is a Level 4 or lower monster, you can Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position, but it has it's effects negated.

* When a "ACCEL Racer" Xyz Monster attacks or is attacked: It cannot be destroyed by that battle, and the battle damage from that battle is inflicted to your opponent instead.
* When a "ACCEL Warrior" Xyz Monster attacks or is attacked: It gains ATK equal to half it's original ATK during the Damage Calculation only, and all battle damage from that battle is doubled.
During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card, then target 1 "ACCEL Armament" monster in your GY or Extra Deck; equip it to a "ACCEL" Xyz Monster you control.

Effect: When a Machine monster on the field attacks or activates it's effect: You can negate that monster's attack or effect, and if you do, it cannot attack or activate it's effects until the end of this turn. At the Standy Phase of the next turn, if the monster had it's effect negated; it can be activated then; OR if it had it's attack negated; the current controller of that monster can inflict damage equal to the monster's ATK, to their opponent LP. The QP spells are nice generic cards, I kinda wish they were continous spells with OPT effects.

 

The term is "take" "inflict" or "recieve" when doing damage to yourself, whereas pay has seperate mechanics.

 

The acceleration counter cards... I would recommend making the spell a choose 1 and the trap increase in cost each time you use 1 of its effects (and keep no repeating). I also think the continuous spell should be a field spell, because both that and the current field spell out at the same time even after the change is brutal.
 

Lastly I suggest changing Armagedons "Can't be special summoned except by its own effect" to "You can only Special Summon 1 'x' once per turn"

 

everything else is awesome form the monsters to the Xyz! Great Job!

 

EDIT: Is this a repost with new additions? I could have sworn I commented on these monsters before?

Something with XYZ cascade decks, where one card spawns more, you want the advantage to be maintained properly. For example, looking at this card. The deck will want to be able to sustain this advantage constantly especially when you have monsters that require progressive number of Accel monster for their summon effects.

 

I suggest 1) making the discard part of the effect

2) making the Quantum bridge, as an example, a cont spell so it has multiple usages, and in return allow an add of only one card like area zero does for sky strikers

You have a lot of Discard effects that I am afraid will bleed the deck's advantage down before it can properly start rolling

 

"ACCEL Quantum Bridge"

Spell - Normal

Effect: Discard 1 "ACCEL" card in your hand, then reveal the top 3 cards of your Deck; add any "ACCEL" card revealed to your hand, and if you do, receive 500 damage for each card added to your hand. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can target 1 "ACCEL" Xyz Monster you control; attach this card to it as a material, and if you do, the targeted monster gains this effect:
* Once per turn: You can reveal the top card of your Deck. If the revealed card is a Level 4 or lower monster, you can Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position, but it has it's effects negated.
If this card is detached from a Xyz Monster, and sent to the GY, banish it instead.

 

You can also honestly do away with the banish if detached clause and instead just put a hard OPT on them

Okay, but wich card are you talking about? The "ACCEL Quantum Bridge" one? Or are you talking about another card(s) instead?

You know, now that I look closelly, I realized that I didn't make the discard effect or the card itself, a once per turn thing XD. Then again that is a good point, making this card a Continuous one instead.

Yes, I could, but I'll be spamming them no end each turn. That's why I wanted to banish those cards once they are detached from a Xyz Monster. Then again your idea sounds good enough, so I'm considering it.
