Mukiryoku

Another spirit monster. This one prevents your opponent from adding cards to their hand. But as well as needing boosted LP, it needs to be destroyed by battle.

Name: Mukiryoku

Fairy/Spirit/Effect

Attribute: LIGHT

Level: 1

Effect: Cannot be Special Summoned. You cannot Special Summon monster(s) or Set card(s) during the same turn this card is Normal Summoned. If this card would be destroyed by battle: Banish it. If this card would be destroyed by card effect: Pay 1000 LP; Banish it. This card cannot be banished, except by its own effect. While this card is banished, and you have more than 8000 LP: Your opponent cannot add card(s) from their deck to their hand. While this card is banished, and you have more than 10000 LP: Your opponent cannot return card(s) from their GY to their hand. Once per turn, during the Standby Phase, while this card is banished: Increase your LP by 1000. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Normal Summoned or flipped face-up this turn: Return it to the hand.

ATK/DEF: 100/100

So it's like a Rai-oh but on the banished zone? That's actually pretty strong, but considering how much negation there is in the game, the chances of such a dangerous card getting to resolve its effect seem slim, to say the least. Not to mention that more often than not, the opponent will most likely be done with their searches and have an established board by the time this card can actually crash into something...

I think this card might need a little buff, or else I wouldn't see it working very well unless you're facing some underpowered rogue strategy. Maybe allowing it to proc its banishing effect when destroyed, in general? Probably too much, I think, but something along these lines should work.

Nevertheless, I do like the concept, but I feel that it's a tad overbalanced.

I agree it needs a little buff and any destruction would be too strong. I think if it was any destruction and made you pay 1000 LP if it was destroyed by card effect that would work?

Another option is let it heal you each turn it remains banished (by maybe half the highest ATK monster your opponent controls during each Standby Phase?)

might need just a small push from where its sitting, but it would be fine as is.

Would the effect be more balanced as

Cannot be Special Summoned. You cannot Special Summon monster(s) or Set card(s) during the same turn this card is Normal Summoned. If this card would be destroyed by battle: Banish it.
