Obstagoon
Level 8/DARK/Beast-Warrior/Effect
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set.
Must be Special Summoned by a card effect.
You can only use the 3rd effect of this card’s name once per turn.
(1) Place 1 Obstruct Counter on all Link Monsters your opponent controls while this card is face-up on the field, except monsters that have an Obstruct Counter on them.
(2) Monsters your opponent controls that have Obstruct Counter on them have their effects negated, also your opponent cannot activate the effects of monsters with Obstruct Counters on them.
(3) If your opponent's monster declares an attack (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, negate the attack, and if you do that, change all monsters your opponent controls to face-down Defense Position, then end the Battle Phase. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this effect's activation.
3000/3500

@Aníbal Salazar @Blue Arcana @KH911 @Loleo I made brand new Battle Related hand trap since nobody in Modern Yugioh plays them I decide to acuatully give this card a body also he is very Defensive so with all the Power Creep in the Game I decided to make a Battle Fader combined with a Book of Eclipse effect for the opponent's monsters at SS4 and has a floodgate against Link Monsters Battle Hand Traps like Groz and Battle Fader no longer see play in META Decks anymore nad are now for Jank/Stall Decks.

I think it's effect is strong enough to make it a good hand trap, the stats are overkill. I'd probably drop the stats to 2000 ATK 2500 DEF and then it would be fine. The fact it can't be negated and flips all monsters facedown means that it completely nullifies your opponent's endboards and enables you to do your own thing. So a 3k body on top of that is a bit too much.

Honestly, the card is fine. The body is probably way too big for how easily you can bring it out, not to mention it also switches the opponents board to Defense as well, not to mention it literally kills all Links on the opponent's field with no cost as well? Yeah, no.

I actually think it can keep the large body, despite what I just said, but the Special Summoning conditions needs to be changed, regardless. Otherwise, your opponent potentially losses the game for attacking. Make it so that you need to receive direct damage instead, that way the powerful effect can make for a strong "turn the tables" moment, but you're not immediately set for a win if, say, you went first and have something already on board.

In addition to slightly lower stats, you can change the counters to just "while you control this card Link monsters your opponent controls have their effects negated."

2000/3000 for the stats and I don't think you need to end the battle phase since your opponent will only be able to attack with Link monsters anyway after the effect (which probably won't have enough attack to get over 3k DEF anyway).
