Seriously this deck sucks it's weak! >:( and it's not even that good seriously Konami after a streak of releasing good sets this has to be the bad one!?

AGAIN, not every set/archetype has to cater to the competitive audience. So what if this will cater to the casual audience? Let them enjoy these cards.

Why is it not beast :(

Seriously though love the unique design here, thrice per turn clauses, how it ranks. attached used QP spells <3

Fun facts: there are only 2 other "thrice per turn" cards, and the first thrice per turn card was also an Xyz xD

God this is such a cool archetype. The idea that it only uses 1 monster and quick play spells as xyz material, the thrice per turn moderately powerful effects, it's so unique I love it. Why can't all modern archetypes be this interesting.

On another note, it's funny how this archetype actually works well with Dark World. The quick play spells discard is not a cost, so it activates Dark World effects. It's also a small archetype with no real bricks. Dark World doesn't have any extra deck monsters, so you can freely include this with them, and it gives them some much needed non-destruction removal.

To be fair the left spot lies between the Rank 7 and the Field Spell, so they will likely get another Rank 7+ Xyz.

It is possible that this other high Rank Xyz salvages what can still be salvaged regarding this theme (like giving them an alternative to Expurery Happiness that is actually worth summoning on a regular basis).

Expurery happiness gives you Dark Ruler No More on a monster, not really sure what more you want from it. Other than that, the rank 2 monsters have thrice per turn non destruction removal, even if it's only until end phase, that's pretty big deal.

The big one could have its effect be a Quick effect if it has 3 or more rank 2 monsters as materials :3 (I'm greedy and wish it was just a little bit better). The rank 2 monsters' thrice per turn effect aren't all "removal" but they are interaction that hinders your opponent. part of me is wondering if this is gonna be part of a Ghostrick FTK/OTK with rank up cards.

Another rank 7 and maybe another level 1 would be appreciated. Almost wish there was a Continuous trap that made them unaffected by opponent's card effects except effects that destroy them with a GY effect to be banished from the GY and return 3 of the archetype's cards from GY or face-up banished to the deck to draw a card.

Dark Ruler No More is pointless though if you get it AFTER completing your plays and already running into all interruptions available to the opponent and then the monster is just a large body during the opponent's turn, without any kind of quick effect or even protection.

The quick-play spells provide additional effects when attached as material. That means the rank 7 actually has 3 additional effects (one of which is non-destruction removal) and the quick-play spells activated effects provide protection. This is not an archetype that relies on one card to win the game, you're supposed to use the quick-play spells to protect your monsters and give them additional effects.

One is Spell Speed 1 non-destruction removal, which can also be used on Epurery Beauty, which is the only good one of their Xyzs and which still does not fix the issue that Epurery Happiness is only online after running into all interruptions the opponent has, has nothing but attack power to offer and might as well be a token with high ATK during their turn.

One time destruction protection is fairly lackluster, especially when you have to throw away a card to get it, at which point you might as well run My Body as a Shield.

Also to clarify, none of their cards are bad for the archetype to have, however as a mix they are near pointless as they (currently) have no plays that are worth making, apart from going into Epurery Beauty and hoping that it can carry the entire archetype.

Edit: I kind of overlooked the Farfa effect on Epurery Plump, so that one is also an option, which does give them up to 3 interruptions during the opponent's turn (although only if one has enough of their Quickplay Spells to throw away as interruptions).

So taking that into consideration they might be less bad than I assumed (although still the worst Deck Build Pack archetype we had since Ursarctic).

Well, Expurery Noir certainly is ... a card. If nothing else I would describe it as a combination between Zeus and The Arrival/Cyberdark End Dragon (similarly to Great Magnus).

I really do not get how this does not have a Hopt clause on its removal effect though.

I guess this means that this archetype just became Expurery Noir turbo.

Activated card effects, so anything continuous like Skill Drain still work.

True, but you can chain it to Skill Drain and remove it before it resolves.

The only at least semi-relevant cards I can think of that Noir cannot counter are Kaiju-like monsters and Destiny Hero - Plasma.
