This archetype is basically an r/yugiohmemes discord inside joke that got out of hand. Anyway, the archetype is here now, so why not post it in YCM? The deck obviously focuses on getting out “Kwagar Hercules” as quickly an easy as possible and protecting it through any means necessary. Because it is a non-effect monster, the retrains of the fusion materials give EARTH insect monsters effects then they are used for a fusion, xyz and link monster. Yes indeed, that means i made xyz and link support! Let’s get straight to the support of this chad: First off are the fusion material retrains: Kuwagata the Vicious Level 4 EARTH Insect 1250/1000 This card’s name becomes “Kawagata α” while in the hand, field or GY. If this card is Summoned: You can add 1 card that mentions “Kwagar Hercules” from your Deck or GY to your hand, except “Kuwagata the Vicious”. An EARTH insect Fusion or Link Monster that was summoned using this card as material gains the following effect. ● If this card is Summoned, if all the monsters used for the Summon of this card are banished or in your GY: You can Special Summon all of them. Hercules the Dangerous Level 5 EARTH Insect 1500/2000 This card’s name becomes “Hercules Beetle” while in the hand, field and GY. If this card is in your Hand: You can target 1 Insect Normal Monster, “Kwagar Hercules” or 1 card that mentions it in your GY; Special Summon both this card and that target, and if you do, as many of those monsters’ Levels as possible become 6. You can only use this effect of “Hercules the Dangerous” once per turn. An EARTH Insect monster that was Fusion, Xyz or Link Summoned using this card as material gains this effect. ● This card is unaffected by Spell/Trap effects. Basically: - They both become their normal monster counterpart’s name while in the hand/field/GY. - Their effect differs; 1 adds, the other bring itself and something else out. - They both give an effect to a monster that used them as materials. The 3rd main deck monster is a little different: Laser insect Level 6 EARTH Insect 1500/1700 This card can be used as a substitute for any 1 Fusion Material whose name is specifically listed on the Fusion Monster Card, but the other Fusion Material(s) must be correct. If this card is sent to the GY: You can add 1 Spell/Trap that mentions “Kwagar Hercules” from your Deck to your hand. If this card is in your GY, while your control “Kwagar Hercules”: You can Special Summon this card. You can only use each effect of “Laser insect” once per turn. - Fusion substitute - Floating effect that searches a surprise tool that will help us later… it searches the backrow - can revive itself if you control kwagar to provide link and xyz fodder Now onto the backrow. There’s a continuous spell and a counter trap: Dank Kwagar Nest Continuous Spell When this card is activated: Add 1 monster that mentions “Kwagar Hercules” from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, when “Kwagar Hercules” is special summoned: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy it. If this face-up card leaves the field: Special Summon 1 monster that mentions “Kwagar Hercules” from your Deck. - search power, destruction and floating/extension all in 1 neat little package! Herculean Strength Counter trap When a card or effect is activated, while you control a “Kwagar” fusion monster: Negate the activation, and if you do, banish it, then look at your opponent’s Extra Deck and banish 1 card from it. - Simple effect, but very powerful - Only works if you control the real deal, this is because most ofthe extra deck monsters’ names become “Kwagar Hercules” on the field and in the GY. Speaking of… The Extra Deck! Kwagar Hercules - Unstoppable Rank 6 EARTH Insect 1900/1700 2 Level 6 EARTH Monsters This card’s name becomes “Kwagar Hercules” while on the field or in the GY. All “Kwagar Hercules” you control gain 700 ATK/DEF, also they cannot be destroyed by your opponent’s card effects. Once per turn, when a card or effect is activated that targets an Insect monster your control: You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. - Becomes Kwagar - Boosts all Kwagar and makes them indestructible - Targeting protection - Relatively easy to make with the Hercules Beetle retrain Kwagar Ronghe Link-2 EARTH Insect 1600 2 Insect Monsters “Kwagar Hercules” you control cannot be destroyed by batte. Once per turn: You can target 1 Insect monster you control or in your GY, or reveal 1 Insect monster in your hand, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; the opponent’s monster’s name becomes your monster’s name, until the end of this turn. You can pay 1000 LP; Fusion Summon 1 EARTH Insect Fusion from your Extra Deck, using 2 monsters from your hand or Deck and/or by banishing them from either field as Fusion Material. You can only use this effect of “Kwagar Rhonge” once per turn. - Does NOT become Kwagar - Battle protection to Kwagar - Changes the name of an opponent’s monster to an insect in rotation - Walking Super Polymerization, but be aware that it can only send the normal monsters and the fusion substitute from the deck to the GY. Unstoppable Kwagar, Force of Nature 1 ”Kwagar" Fusion Monster + 1 “Kwagar" monster This card's name becomes "Kwagar Hercules” while on the field or in the GY. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 “Kwagar Hercules" or 1 monster that mentions it from your hand or GY, all face-up cards your opponent currently controls have their effects negated until the end of this turn. Once per turn: You can draw cards equal to the number of "Kwagar Hercules” on the field. If this card leaves the field: You can Special Summon up to 3 other banished monsters that mention "Kwagar Hercules". You can only use this effect of “Unstoppable Kwagar, Force of Nature" once per turn. - Requires either the OG kwagar or itself to fusion summon - Like all extra deck monsters, can be summoned back with the hercules beetle retrain - Negates EVERYTHING once per turn, probably one of the best negates out there that isnt a floodgate - Insane draw power! - Equally insane floating effect And thats every card!
