MasterofGays
This is my 2 cents on what they need: 1. Red-eyes need their own version of eternal soul, true light 2. They need more gemini base monsters in order to synergize with Sublimination knight, evocator archetype. In short, I think the deck would do well if they embrace the gemini archetype and head down this road. 3. They need better fusion spell that does not penalize them from normal summoning 4. Red-eyes being only 2400 atk make it easy to run over. The archetype needs some form of hand trap that can boost said monsters attack 5. The deck also needs more searchers and draw power. Loleo
1. I agree, it would be fitting, and the archetype needs a card of the sort. 2.I would like to hear your thoughts on how to make gemini monsters viable, including maybe an example card? 3. Red-eyes Fusion is one of the most busted fusion spell ever, right up there with shaddol and... yeah those are probably the top 2. 4. I'm all for this. 5. This would also be nice. KH911
I agree red eyes fusion is strong enough that it should prevent you from any other summons. But I also think they need another fusion spell, that's weaker but has a less harsh cost/condition. As for gemini monsters, the mechanic itself isn't the problem, the problem lies in the fact that their effects are not strong enough to warrant summoning them twice. Cards like Gigaplant and Il Blud were meta because their effects were worth using 2 summons. So my advice on making geminis viable is simply give them stronger effects, that should be enough to encourage summoning them twice. Another option could be gemini fusion monsters, but idk how possible that is.

Like a QP spell that banishes materials from hand, field, or GY and makes the summoned monster unaffected by card effects until the end of the turn? It'd be weird but technically possible.
KH911
Someone in another post said that gemini extra deck monsters are impossible due to how the mechanic works. I don't see why it's impossible, but it's hard to design because it's much easier to get their gemini effects compared to regular gemini monsters.
