Mayakashi Synchros

This is part 2 of splitting the giant batch from earlier into smaller, more digestible ones. I was thinking about how boring it can be to synchro summon the same 5 Mayakashi monsters every single game, so I decided to make another set. I was considering making another set of odd level synchros, giving the player 2 options for every step of the synchro ladder, but ultimately decided to make them even level synchros, enabling the player to begin synchro climbing using any combination of monsters. This also creates some funky strategies where you can begin an even synchro ladder, and at some point during the climb, you switch to the odd synchro ladder, or ideally, climbing both ladders. I also couldn't decide which version of Umi-Bozu I wanted, so I decided to post both and see what people think.

Kappa, The Trickster Mayakashi

Level 4 | Water | Zombie | Synchro | Effect

You can only control 1 "Kappa, The Trickster Mayakashi". You can only use each of these effects of "Kappa, The Trickster Mayakashi" once per turn:

 - If a Synchro Monster you control whose original level is 6 is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect while this card is in the GY: You can banish 1 other zombie monster from the GY, and if you do, special summon this card.

 - If this card is special summoned from the GY: You can swap possession of this card with a random monster your opponent controls.

 - If a Synchro Monster you control whose original level is 8 is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect while this card is in the GY: You can banish 1 other zombie monster from the GY, and if you do, special summon this card.

 - If this card is special summoned from the GY: You can take one card in your opponent's hand and add it to your hand.

 - If a Synchro Monster you control whose original level is 10 is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect while this card is in the GY: You can banish 1 other zombie monster from the GY, and if you do, special summon this card.

 - If this card is special summoned from the GY: You can inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.

 - If this card is special summoned from the GY: You can special summon 1 "Mayakashi" monster from your GY to your opponent's side of the field.

 - If a Synchro Monster you control whose original level is 12 is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect while this card is in the GY: You can banish 1 other zombie monster from the GY, and if you do, special summon this card.

- If this card is special summoned from the GY: You can target 1 zombie synchro monster in your GY or that is banished and apply it's effects as this card's effect.

Yamato no Orochi, The Ultimate Mayakashi

Level 12 | Divine | Zombie | Synchro | Effect

1 tuner + 1 non-tuner
You can only control 1 "Yamato no Orochi, The Ultimate Mayakashi". You can only use each of these effects of "Yamato no Orochi, The Ultimate Mayakashi" once per turn:

 - If a link monster you control is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect while this card is in the GY: You can banish 1 other zombie monster from the GY, and if you do, special summon this card.

 - If this card is special summoned from the GY: You can banish monsters from your opponent's hand (randomly) or GY up to the number of zombie synchro monsters with different names in your GY, and if you do, this card's original ATK and DEF become equal to that number x 800. This card can attack a number of times up to the number of cards banished by this effect.

Main deck Mayakashi monsters all have an effect that states "you cannot special summon from the extra deck except mayakashi monsters". As a result, there's a cheese strat where you use give and take to special summon a mayakashi to the monsters field, locking them out of the extra deck. So I decided to make a mayakashi monster that officially incorporates that strategy rather than having to use give and take.
