No more playing suboptimally because you’re scared of a potential Nibiru! Elder Brain is here to protect you from handtraps and help you build your board to counter your opponent’s hand! (or let you scoop faster because you can already see your opponent opened mystic mine & field barrier in advance)

The drawback you get is that Elder Brain likes to stick to the field, but in Decks that spam some Level 7s, you can Xyz Summon Supreme Elder Brain, who can take advantage of the fact that you saw your opponent’s hand previously and has some protection to maybe use it again on the next turn.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by a card effect. During your turn, when your opponent activates monster effect in the Hand, while this card is in your Hand (Quick Effect): You can negate that effect, and if you do, Special Summon this card. Your opponent must play with their Hand revealed. Cannot be used as Synchro or Link Material.

● Once per turn: You can declare 1 card name; look at your opponent's hand, then if they have the declared card in their hand, banish it face-down, and if you do, draw 1 card.

● If this card you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can detach 1 material from this card instead.
