If you Summon exactly 1 monster (and no other monsters): You can treat that Summon as any other kind of Summon (Normal, Flip,
Tribute, Special, Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum, Link). You can only use this effect of "Fake Passport" once per turn.

 

Design notes: A -hopefully- interesting creation that is bound to have interesting interactions with a good number of cards. It is capable of many things, ranging from the acquisition of effects which certain cards only hold when they're Summoned in an specific way (a simple example would be Traptrix Dionaea, which has an at Normal Summon and a different at Special Summon effects), or avoidance of penalties for being Summoned in other ways, like the typical card that must be destroyed or returned to hand at the end of turn for being Special Summoned, or the high leveled mon that is at its strongest when Tribute Summoned. This card also allows not only a proficient usage of the Summoned monster itself, but also lets you combo with other cards which ask for monsters Summoned in a particular way to work with them. Finally, while I think FLIP effects won't be triggered by choosing "Flip Summon" since the mechanic action of flipping is not happening, it will trigger effects which happen "At Flip Summon", like Guardian Sphinx which shuffles into Deck all opponent mons, Sauropod Brachion changing all other mons to coward position, Exxod inflicting 1000 damage by summoning other monsters in Attack Position and claiming it was a Flip Summon, World Legacy - World Armor laughing to be Summoned, Swarm of Crows discarding from the moment it's Summoned, etc.

A particular mention to the artwork. Man, didn't I suffer? Just finding a theme that worked along the effect was difficult, then I spend hours to find something that remotely worked. In the end of this hell I ended up making this little composition, which required a lot of editing the... background, creating the passport and using the right perspective settings, and since the original work was too rectangular, I had to add the things on the sides (though I cheated and just cloned one and mirrored it lol. A lot of work for some random card, but eh, I've never posted (that I remember) a card without image in Casual, and I'm keeping the record intact >: )

The card has a lot of interesting little interactions like using the Trap "Xyz Effect" off of any good old Normal Summon or reviving Synchros and getting off their effects (Black Rose nukes, Stardust Charge draws 1 card, Wonder Magician pops backrow, etc.). Recharge Breaker's counter or trigger all Monarch effects when Special Summoning them.
The art is also lulzy and very well made. I can imagine the perspective of those edits was quite a nightmare to get right. Kudos for using Evil Twins since it really does fit the flavor of their fake identities haha.

IDK if it is good or bad that it probably doesn't work to floodgate since the Summon is the original kind of Summon during all the steps prior to the monster actually hitting the field, THEN the monster from there on is the new kind of Summon. This means you can't call Xyz with Dimensional Barrier and expect to stop a Fusion rebranded as an Xyz Summon. It is probably for the best.

On the other hand, you can treat something like Vortex Dragon as a Normal Summon and stop the opponent from being able to enable Shaddoll Fusion, it is all around a very fun card concept. n,n

I'm glad you find the card interesting n.n  Even when nerfed from it's original intent (or rather, losing an effect that in truth never had as it wasn't mechanically possible), it should still provide enough fun to be worth it, even if pretty niche.

the whole process of having the artwork ready took far longer than anything else involved in this card's development x_x. The dumbest part? This particular artwork has text bubbles I had to eliminate and replace with something that looked decently like background. Little after I finished, I discovered there was another version of the drawing without text bubbles. Welp, rip me xD. But yeah, inspiration came to me when I found this artwork. My first attempt were looking for pics of Dark Magician Girl looking nervous, as if she was about to try her luck with the fake documents, but found nothing, then the search included any duel monster that would work. I don't even remember how I found this, but phew.

This card could be used to help Tearlaments by Treating a their Fusion Monster that used its effect to send its self to the GY to retreate it as being Fusion Summoned you can loop its effect once per turn.

Yeah, Lulucaros for instance, will be happy to be treated as Fusion Summon when you revive her. Probably that wouldn't be enough to justify this card in a Tearlaments Deck lol, but yep, that's a possible use.
