Atypical-Abbie Posted June 30, 2022 Report Share Posted June 30, 2022 Apocalyptic and Apocalpytic City are archetypes of Rock Level 11 monsters with various Attributes, as well as 1 Warrior monster. They focus on their gimmick of using Field Spells that can Summon themselves, similar to Trap monsters, and Xyz Monsters and high DEF tactics. Their playstyle is all about using the Field Spells which can Special Summon themselves in your Main Phase 2 if certain conditions are met, and making one of their Xyz Monsters which can really mess with your opponent can deal a lot of damage potentially. They are based around, well, and apocalypse, as well as the hopeful future of the post-apocalypse by the survivors. As such, they are Field Spells based around ruined cities, and you can see in their Trap how it happened. If there is a card in the Field Zone while this card is in your hand: You can Special Summon this card. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 Level 11 monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Apocalyptic Haven", also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except Level/Rank 11 monsters. An Xyz Monster that was Summoned 2 or more Rock monsters. including this card on the field, as materials gains this effect. ● Once per turn: You can target 1 Field Spell in your GY; add it to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Apocalyptic Survivor" once per turn. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned while you control a Field Spell: You can add 1 "Apocalyptic" card from your Deck to your hand. (Quick Effect): You can send 1 Field Spell from your hand or field to the GY; this card's ATK becomes 3000 until the end of this turn. An Xyz Monster that was Xyz Summoned using this card as material gains this effect. ● Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card; draw 2 cards and reveal them, then discard 1 card unless you revealed 2 Field Spells. SPELLS/TRAPS: While this card is in your Field Zone, Level/Rank 11 monsters on the field gain 500 DEF for each Level/Rank 11 monster you control. During your Main Phase 2, if a monster you control was destroyed by an effect or you Special Summoned no monsters this turn: You can Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Rock/WIND/Level 11/0 ATK/3000 DEF) in Defense Position. (This card is also still a Trap.). If this card is a monster: You can add 1 "Apocalyptic" card from your Deck to your hand, then of there is no card in either Field Zone you can place this card in either player's Field Zone, otherwise place it on top of your Deck. You can only use this effect of "Apocalyptic City Construct" once per turn. While this card is in your Field Zone, you can Normal Summon Level 11 monsters without Tributing, but its ATK/DEF are halved, also unless you control a card in your Field Zone during the End Phase of each turn, that monster is destroyed. During your Main Phase 2, if you activated 2 or more Field Spell Cards this turn or you Special Summoned no monsters this turn: You can Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Rock/WATER/Level 11/0 ATK/2500 DEF) in Defense Position. (This card is also still a Trap.). Once per turn, if this card is a monster (Quick Effect): You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; place both that target and this card on top of your Deck. While this card is in your Field Zone, Level/Rank 11 and higher monsters can attack while in face-up Defense Position. If they do, apply their DEF for damage calculation. During your Main Phase 2, if a monster you control was destroyed by battle this turn, or you Special Summoned no monsters this turn: You can Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Rock/EARTH/Level 11/0 ATK/2500 DEF) in Defense Position. (This card is also still a Trap.). Once per turn, while this card is a monster, if your opponent targets a Level/Rank 11 monster(s) you control for an effect, you can reveal 1 Field Spell in your hand, and if you do, negate that effect and banish that card. While this card is in your Field Zone, once per turn, if you Summon exactly 1 Level/Rank 11 monster: You can inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's DEF. During your Main Phase 2, if you Normal Summoned a monster this turn, or you Special Summoned no monsters this turn: You can Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Rock/FIRE/Level 11/0 ATK/2500 DEF) in Defense Position. (This card is also still a Trap.). If this card is a monster: You can target 1 Level 11 monster in your GY; add it to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Apocalyptic City Construct" once per turn. If you control a Spell in your Monster Zone, you can activate this card from your hand. Activate 1 of these effects. ● If you control no cards in your Field Zone: Activate 1 "Apocalyptic City" Field Spell from your Deck. ● If there is a card in the Field Zone: Reveal 1 "Apocalyptic City" Field Spell in your hand, then Special Summon that card as a monster with the Type, Attribute, Level and ATK/DEF written in its card text, but it is still a Spell. EXTRA DECK MONSTERS: 2+ Level 11 monsters If this card was Xyz Summoned using 2 or more Rock monsters, it gains 1500 ATK for each of those monsters. Once per turn, when your opponent activates a card or effect, except a Field Spell Card or effect: You can detach 1 material from this card; negate the activation, then place that card in your opponent's Field Spell Zone as a Field Spell with this effect. ● Once per turn, if you Special Summon exactly 1 monster: Destroy all other monsters, except that monster, and if you do, that monster loses ATK/DEF equal to the number of monsters destroyed x 500, and that monster must attack the monster with the higest DEF this turn, if able. 3 Level 11 monsters If this card is Xyz Summoned to the Extra Monster Zone while there is a card in the Field Zone: You can Special Summon 1 Rank 11 Xyz Monster from your GY, then you can attach any number of Spells from your hand or field to it as material. (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card; this turn, Field Spells and Level/Rank 11 monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle or your opponent's effects, also double any damage your opponent takes this turn.
