When this card is normal summoned, you can target 1 card you control, add a card with the same name from your deck to your hand. You can discard a spell card, place a journey counter on 1 card your opponent controls, this card gains 600 ATK for each journey counter on the field.

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 card you control; add 1 card with the same name as that target from your Deck to your hand. You can discard 1 Spell; Place 1 Journey Counter on 1 face-up card your opponent controls. This card gains 600 ATK for each Journey Counter on the field.

 

Card seems reasonable. The Normal Summon effect is a pure +1, but it requires setup. The best things it'd be able to grab are probably Pendulums since they can have extra immediate value.

The rest of the effect is pretty straightforward. The only thing I'd suggest to strengthen it is dropping its ATK by 50. That way it'd have Fairy Tail/Charmer synergy.

Ahh nice, a waifu card is always welcome. I wouldn't mind grabbing one of her hands... or the two of them, or... OMG stay away!

In addition to Tinkerer's suggestion, I'd go with a little change: When ---> If this card is Normal Summoned. To avoid missing the timing issues.

I feel that the cost is way too high for a +600 bonus, I'd either bump the ATK increase to 1000 or lower it and apply the effect each time a Spell card is activated, regardless of user.

Timing, the one thing I always forget about.

I thought about 1000 when making the card but I decided to go with 600 since that would match the card with Dark Magician and other 2500 ATK Ace monsters with one discard. I do understand it’s not a great card but i think it would be fun for casual play!

I think the first effect is what makes this card pretty nice. One final recommendation is changing the target from "card you control" to "card on the field" just in cases of mirror matches.

Hmm… nah, I’d rather not have some stupid shit get copied, I feel that freedom could be a bit too powerful.
