I like the second one better, but I think that you should move the white wing to the left a little so we can see it more, and so it looks like more of a full wing.

im starting to practice on scratch sprites and this is my first complete sprite: can people tell me if its good for a first scratch sprite and tell me tips on how i could improve? can we get club points off of scratch pokemon?

there is a tutorial on how to make scratch sprites there, and not a bad job on it, just the shading doesn't look quite right to me.
