Pride HERO Archetype (12/12) - Pride Is Eternal

Pride HERO is an archetype of mainly Level 4 Warriors with various Attributes. As a HERO support archetype, they focus on Fusion Monsters, contact fusion style, floating and shuffling their own cards into the Deck is the main part of their playstyle. Their main goal is to get out their boss monster Pride HERO Rainbowpoly Xenogender that has a powerful shuffling effect, as well as being able to spam many monsters easily, with the use of other HERO support cards.

This archetype, as you have guesses already, is based on the LGBT+ and queer pride as a whole, as I'm myself a trans woman and bi/pansexual, and as it's June and pride month as I'm writing this, it makes all the more sense to show my own pride and share it with some of you all. I made them related to HERO because HERO already had a similar feel to what I wanted these to do, and with the support cards they have, this archetype becomes a lot more powerful than on their own, see the sample deck for some of the cards I put in, Xtra HERO Infernal Devicer is an especially powerful card for them, since it can give you two copies of any of the Main Deck Monsters, then you can use that to get out their boss monster, since it doesn't have much else of a reason to stay on the field.

Main Deck Monsters:

If you control a "Pride HERO" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, but it cannot attack this turn. When a "HERO" monster you control is targeted for an attack: You can return it to your hand, then Special Summon 1 "HERO" monster from your Deck, but its effects are negated unless it is a "Pride HERO" monster. You can only use each effect of "Pride HERO Lesbian Sappho" once per turn.

If you control a "Pride HERO" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, but it cannot attack this turn. When this card is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned by the effect of another "HERO" card: You can add 1 "Pride HERO" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Pride HERO Gat Vincian", also you cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except "HERO" monsters. You can only use each effect of "Pride HERO Gay Vincian" once per turn.

If you control a "Pride HERO" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, but it cannot attack this turn. If you control a "HERO" Fusion Monster while this card is in your GY: You can Special Summon this card in Defense Position, but it's shuffled into the Deck when leaves the field, then if it's a "Pride HERO" Fusion Monster, you can add 1 "HERO" card from your GY to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Pride HERO Trans Masc" once per turn.

If you control a "Pride HERO" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, but it cannot attack this turn. If another "HERO" monster(s) is shuffled into the Deck: You can draw 1 card, or 2 cards if 2 or more "Pride HERO" monsters were shuffled into the Deck. You can only use each effect of "Pride HERO Trans Femme" once per turn.

EXTRA DECK MONSTERS:

"Pride HERO Lesbian Sappho" + "Pride HERO Gay Vincian"
Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by shuffling the above cards you control into the Deck. You can target 1 "HERO" monster in your GY; add that target to the hand, then if you added a "Pride HERO" monster, all monsters your opponent lose 500 ATK/DEF. This is a Quick Effect while you control a "Skyscraper" Field Spell. When this card is destroyed: You can Special Summon 1 "Pride HERO" monster from your Deck. You can only use each effect of "Pride HERO Bicon Genderflux" once per turn

"Pride HERO Trans Masc" + "Pride HERO Trans Femme"
Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by shuffling the above cards you control into the Deck. You can target 1 monster on each field; shuffle them into the Deck, then both players draw 1 card and reveal them, and if it is a monster with the same Type as their targeted monster, they can Special Summon it. This is a Quick Effect while you control a "Skyscraper" Field Spell. When this card is destroyed: You can Special Summon 1 "Pride HERO" monster from your Deck. You can only use each effect of "Pride HERO Enby Aroace" once per turn

2 HERO monsters, including a "Pride HERO" monster
Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by shuffling cards you control into the Deck. When another "HERO" monster(s) is shuffled into the Deck: You can target 1 card on the field; shuffle that target into the Deck. When this card is destroyed: You can Special Summon 1 "Pride HERO" monster from your Deck. You can only use each effect of "Pride HERO Intersex Neopronoun" once per turn

1 "Pride HERO" Fusion Monster + 1 "HERO" monster
Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by shuffling the above cards you control into the Deck. When this card is Special Summoned: You can shuffle any number of monsters on the field into the Deck up to the number of "Pride HERO" monsters in your GY and on your field with different names. When this card is destroyed: You can Special Summon 1 "Pride HERO" monster from your Deck. You can only use each effect of "Pride HERO Rainbowpoly Xenogender" once per turn

SPELL/TRAPS:

When this card is activated: You can excavate the top 5 cards of your Deck, add 1 excavated "Pride HERO" card to your hand, also send any other "HERO" cards to the GY, and shuffle the remaining cards into the Deck. If a "Pride HERO" monster is Special Summoned from your Extra Deck: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; halve that target's ATK/DEF. If exactly 1 "HERO" Fusion Monster is destroyed: You can target 1 "HERO" monster in your GY with a different name; Special Summon that target, but it is shuffled into the Deck during the Standby Phase of the next turn. You can only use each effect of "Pride HERO Event - Skyscraper City" once per turn.

Target 1 HERO monster you control; shuffle it into the Deck, then Special Summon 1 "Pride HERO" monster with a different Deck. During the End Phase, if this card is in your GY and you control a "Skyscraper" Field Spell: You can Set this card, but it is banished when it leaves the field. You can only use each effect of "Pride HERO Outcoming" once per turn.

If a "HERO" monster is shuffled into the Deck: Special Summon 1 "HERO" monster from your Deck, also if a "Pride HERO" was shuffled into the Deck, draw 1 card. If a "Pride HERO" monster(s) is shuffled into the Deck while this card is in your GY: You can Set this card, but it is banished when it leaves the field. You can only activate 1 "Pride HERO Realization" per turn.

When this card is activated: You can Special Summon 1 "HERO" monster from your hand or GY, but it is shuffled into the Deck when it leaves the field, also negate its effects unless it is a "Pride HERO" monster. Once per turn, if a "Pride HERO" monster(s) is Special Summoned from your Extra Deck: You can shuffle 1 card from your hand or field into your Deck, and if you do, draw 1 card.

Cool idea tbh but too bad the gay one can't trigger its own effect, I haven't read all the cards but there's no reliable way in archetype to trigger the gay effect T1 unless you have the quick play spell (which you can't search). I guess A Hero Lives, Liquid Soldier and Solid Soldier work but you know it would be cool if there was an in archetype way to trigger the gay one easily

Vincian can trigger it when you Normal Summon, but yes only others will let you add, also you can search the Quick-Play Spell with Vincian or Skyscraper City.

Love the archetype. Although, I have a slight grammar nitpick that I've seen of a few other cards as well: I believe the "another ___ monster(s)" on Trans Femme should be either "(an)other ___ monster(s)" or "other ___ monster(s)".

Well apparently I can't read haha fair enough. Cool card then.

Also Fusion monsters requiring 2 specific fusion material (with no in archetype way of changing names or sth else) is kind of outdated and hard to pull off imo. AND they have to be on field so it's even harder

If you play them using the deck I provided, you will find that this is actually not hard at all, and can provide nice boards and card advantage, also that's why Intersex exists, so you can use any materials you want.
