Carat Idol

As we know, Carat Idol's the only Immortal monster from Duelists of the Roses that hasn't been ported into the OCG/TCG because it's a 2600 ATK level 9 "boss monster" that wouldn't do its job well when there are level 7 "boss monsters" with 3000 ATK. Thus, I whipped up the original version of Catar Idol in two days. I gave its self-summon the hard oncer per turn because having 2 3600 ATK monsters in one turn very early game seems too powerful to me.

If you control fewer monsters than your opponent, Special Summon this card from your hand. If summoned this way, it gains the following effect:
● If your opponent attacks this monster: they must tribute another card from their field. If they cannot: negate the attack, tribute the attacking monster, and end the battle phase.
This effect of "Carat Idol" only happens once per turn the first time your opponent attacks this card.
Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon/Set. If summoned this way, its original ATK and DEF become 3500 and it gains the following effect:
● This card cannot be targeted or tributed by card effects your opponent controls.

If I'm being honest, this feels like slightly better Cyber Dragon except hard once per turn and has less support.

Thanks for the reply. I've long-since depricated the original veriosn of the card because its name was based on the pun of gemstones being weighed in carats. Thus, I'll update the first post in this topic with the most up to date version of Carat Idol posthaste.
