I could see this being broken, you don’t even need the spell in your deck, just draw this and declare literally anything you need. Need raigeki, boom. Need pot of greed, boom.

Yeah, that was the point, as you can see I changed the level, but instead I'm thinking of upping the cost from discard 1 spell to discard 2 cards including a spell, and keeping it level 4. Thoughts?

That would work, that way you would still be going negate in card advantage no matter what card you choose for it’s effect.
