(2) If your opponent Special Summons a monster(s) and you control an “Amazoness” Monster Card: You can target 1 of those opponent’s monsters; gain LP equal to its ATK.

Sometimes it's necessary if the original art is likely to cause offence to certain audiences. You might think it's stupid but at the end of the day you have to be mindful of the intended target audience and what Konami thinks is appropriate for them.
