Zamazenta the OS-Tan Fan
This card's name becomes "Calyrex, the King of the Bounties" while on the field or in the GY. You can only use each of the following effects of "Calyrex, the Shining King" once per turn. If you control no monsters, or all monsters you control are Fusion monsters (Quick Effect): You can reveal 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; change that target's name, Type, and Attribute to that of the revealed monster's, and if you do, Special Summon this card from your hand, then you can immediately after this effect resolves, Fusion Summon using both that monster and this card you control. If this card is used as Fusion Material: You can add 1 "Calyrex" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand, also until the end of your next turn, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except Fusion Monsters. This card cannot be negated by Monster effects. Face-up Fusion Monsters you control cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's card effects. You can only use each of the following effects of "The Crown Tundra" once per turn. If you control no "Calyrex" Fusion Monsters: You can take 1 "Calyrex, the King of the Bounties" from your Deck either add it to your hand or send it to your GY, then you can send 1 DARK or WATER monster from your Deck to the GY. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except Fusion Monsters, the turn you activate this effect. You can shuffle any number of Fusion Monsters that are banished and/or in your GY into the Extra Deck; Set 1 "Calyrex" Spell/Trap directly from your Deck or GY. This card is unaffected by Monster effects. Once per turn, if you would discard a card from your hand to activate a card effect that Fusion Summons a Fusion Monster, you can discard a card your opponent's hand instead. You can only use each of the following effects of "The Return of King Calyrex" once per turn. During the End Phase, if you Fusion Summoned this turn: You can add 1 "Polymerization" Spell or "Fusion" Normal Spell from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, if your opponent activates a card or effect, while you control a Fusion Monster (except during the Damage Step): You can reveal 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck; all monsters your opponent controls becomes the name, Type, and Attribute of the revealed monster. Add 1 "Calyrex, the King of the Bounties", or 1 card that mentions it, from your Deck to your hand, except "Calyrex's Prophecy". If the effect or activation of this card in its owner's possession was negated by your opponent's card effect and its your Main Phase: You can look at your opponent's Extra Deck and banish cards from your opponent's Extra Deck face-down up to the number of cards and effects your opponent's activated during your Main Phase this turn. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this effect's activation. You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 Fusion Monster you control; it cannot be Tributed, if you control a "Calyrex" Fusion Monster you can target 2 instead. You can only use each effect of "Calyrex's Prophecy" once per turn. While you control a Fusion Monster and no other monsters Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, except Fusion Monsters: You can target 1 Effect Monster your opponent controls; send it to the GY, then, you can look at your opponent's Extra Deck, and if you do, Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck by sending 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck to the GY and banishing face-down 1 monster from your opponent's Extra Deck as Fusion Material, but it cannot attack directly. You can shuffle both this card and 1 Fusion Monster from your GY into the Deck, then target 1 Fusion Monster you control; it cannot leave the field by your opponent, until the end of the next turn, but it cannot attack this turn. You can only use each effect of "Calyrex's Flourishing Blossoms" once per turn. When a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect, is activated while you control an Fusion Monster: Negate that effect, and if you do, banish that card, then if you control a "Calyrex" Fusion Monster you can Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, by shuffling the Fusion Materials listed on it into the Deck, from among your cards on the field, in your GY, and/or your face-up banished cards. During the Main Phase while you control an Fusion Monster, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can shuffle any number of your banished Monsters into the Deck, including a "Calyrex, the King of the Bounties", then target 1 card your opponent controls; banish that target face-down, then you can Set this card. You can only use each effect of "Calyrex's Stance" once per turn.
Zamazenta the OS-Tan Fan
@Loleo which 1 is better the old Calyrex or the New one the old one being Calyrex, the King of the Bounties and the new being Calyrex, the Shining King the only diffence being in their name and effects but otherwise they still have the same Level, Type, Attribute, Them not being Tuners, and finally both still supporting Fusion Based Strategies They still are Level 4 LIGHTs with only 1000 ATK/DEF so which one do you like better? (1) (Quick Effect): You can reveal this card in your hand; reveal 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck and add, from your Deck, 1 of the Fusion Materials whose name is specifically listed on that card to your hand, then send this card from your hand to the GY. (2) If a Fusion Monster is Special Summoned to your field during the Main Phase, while this card is in your GY or banished (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card, but place it on the bottom of the Deck when it leaves the field. Loleo
They both have their ups and downs but for consistency's sake I would sake I would say the original, the fact that the new one has to target and requires a monster your opponent controls at all is very limiting relatively, but both are very powerful.
