Heh. I can see how Berserk Dragon could be used in DDT or something.

 

Run it with 3 Invader of Darkness or something just for fun.

 

I would like to do that.

 

If I had Berserk Dragon.

 

 

All in all it's not a bad card. Perhaps not the most usable, but still playable.

 

If played at the right time, BD could be devastating to your opponent. Maybe even against DAD if the circumstances are right.

 

*Everyone who says they need not provide proof can continue to be a stubborn child who cannot accept that they are wrong after being shown they are wrong. It is much harder to forgive someone for being right than for being wrong, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't forgive them for being right. Accept that Berserk Dragon isn't so bad of a card. JUST PROVIDE PROOF OR ACCEPT THAT IT ISN"T TERRIBLE.

I don't see myself using it, but it could be good... I would like to see this combo used without being stopped.

 

Ojama Trio + Berserk Dragon being summoned + Fairy Meteor Crush on Berserk Dragon + no chain from your opponent = 8400 life point damage if, for some incredible reason, your opponent can't counter ANY of it, and hasn't increased their life points. Don't see it happening though, except on purpose.

 

Berserk Dragon is usable, not so much in a zombie deck though. As has been pointed out, zombie decks use a lot of revival cards which this card can't use, its more for an offensive deck. Adding Skill Drain or Reverse Trap can be a nasty surprise when they attack the supposedly 'weak' Berserk Dragon. Its got potential for some neat combos. As do most of the cards pointed out as replacements, though.

 

All in all, it can be useful.

Nomi Turbo is a joke with Phantom of Chaos on the limited list. As for being allure/trade-inable, use Dark Nephthys, Dark Horus, Dark Magician of Chaos, Darklord Zerato, Van'Dalgyon, Plasma, and Dogma instead.

 

Plus, Plasma and Dogma are also D-Drawable, so they're way better.

 

Remix: XD, so you think Berserk Dragon's D-Drawable and that Dark Deal, a Dark World support card from EEN packs will revive Berserk Dragons from the graveyard?

Nomi Turbo is a joke with Phantom of Chaos on the limited list. As for being allure/trade-inable, use Dark Nephthys, Dark Horus, Dark Magician of Chaos, Darklord Zerato, Van'Dalgyon, Plasma, and Dogma instead.

 

Plus, Plasma and Dogma are also D-Drawable, so they're way better.

dude use your brain for a minute here will you?

 

dark deal is short for the card that summon it

 

trade in a level 8 monster then use dark deal (as in the card that summon it) to get 2 draws and a berserk dragon

 

the trade in able and allure able is just a plus, and unlike dogma and plasma, you might actually summon this

unfortunately no it reads "cannot be Special Summoned except by" not "can only be Special Summoned by".

 

Thanks, I was never sure about those things.

Strange enough, Metagame will explain this too this week.

You mean "A Deal with Dark Ruler"? In that case, no, you cannot chain "A Deal with Dark Ruler" to Trade-In or D-Draw, as the Level 8 or higher monster has to be sent to the Grave from the field...

 

But, yeah, Trade-In and Allure are loving this card xD

I thought you only required A Deal with Dark Ruler after you have used Trade-In or D-Draw on Plasma, Dogma or Dreadmaster.

It would be a 1-card combo and you have this on the field.

 

Well, then no, this card's best use is simply ditching it for Trade-In or Allure.

lol yeah, but I had this idea (probably sucky)

 

Use PoC, remove Genesis, dis Berserk Dragon, Special Il Blud, Special Zombie Master and so on and so on, probably a sucky combo but I had to get it out of my system...

Hmm, nvm, my bad. Could've sworn it was limited...

 

Anyway...read the post, I clearly listed why Dogma and Plasma are better, D-Draw and the actual chance of being able to play them. Besides, it's not like Nomi Turbo's meta.

 

What "tactics" can you use with Berserk Dragon that you can't use with Dogma and Plasma?
