The ability to be Summoned without a Quick-Play Spell Card

The ability to be discarded for Trade-In

only 500 less ATK points

I'll give you the first one. The second one doesn't make sense. The third one is highly important, as 3500 beats everything playable, while 3000 doesn't.

Badass by art or by effect? I'd say art.

In every way.

Unfortunately...a bad card.

Prove it without reiterating points already countered.

Who cares about proof? You' want proof for everything ALL THE TIME! There doesn't need to be any proof. Just because he says it's a bad card' date=' doesn't mean it isn't. But it also doesn't mean it is.

I see a lack of proof to be irritating to the eyes of one who doesn't even talk about the card to be discussed. Bad card in reality is bad. Like in the world of common sense. Common Sense is Common Sense.

Prove it. If you can't, then either change your statement so that you saying that Berserk Dragon is a bad card is nothing more than your opinion, or GTFO.

Either you fail to see the truth or don't see at all. 2+2=4 and you can't change that. BAD CARD IS BAD.

An Ultimate Tyrano would pwn this becuase, it doesn't lose ATK and plus...it has the effect to attack attack attack.

Head to head, Berserk Dragon beats Ultimate Tyranno. In the hand, Berserk Dragon is more versatile than Ultimate Tyranno in terms of discard fodder. In the Deck, Berserk Dragon beats Ultimate Tyranno.

Only when in the Graveyard and removed from play is Ultimate Tyranno the better card, and only by the advent of Berserk Dragon being a Nomi.

True, but the chances of using Deal is not so well...

How so? There are plenty of playable Level 8 cards that can hit the field quickly and consistently, and, with Deal being a Quick-Play, it can be activated during the Battle Phase.

Dark Nephthys, Dark Horus, Dark Magician of Chaos, Darklord Zerato, Van'Dalgyon, Dogma, Plasma >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Berserk Dragon

'Nuff said, you really think Berserk is better than all those because it's "bad-ass." Most, if not all of the above have much better art, plus they pwn it in every other way.

Conclusion: Berserk Dragon=crappy.

Chaos' date=' if this card is so good, I'd like you to make a Deck with it on YVD and duel with it.

Tell me if you win or lose.

Settling this over a simple duel of skill and chance, not really my ideal way to prove something. The card is fine in some ways, and it flaws miserably in others.

not, not, yes, yes, maybe, not, not...

face it, berserk dragon has uses... also it's a zombie...

It has it's uses, I agree with that. Especially the fact that Dark Deal can be used AFTER trade-in/D-Draw was used, in case you didn't have it yet.

Also, can't it just be summoned by Mezuki or something after it is summoned successfully?

unfortunately no it reads "cannot be Special Summoned except by" not "can only be Special Summoned by".

A Deal with Dark Ruler doesn't Special Summon from grave. How do you use D-Draw on Berserk Dragon when Berserk Dragon ain't a D-Hero? Dark Deal is a totally different card, it supports Dark World. It can't be Special Summoned except by "A Deal with Dark Ruler", so no reviving it with any Zombie-esque card.

Fail less please.

There's no maybe about Darklord Zerato being better than Berserk Dragon. Nephthys and Horus are better because they're Normal Summonable, not to mention Nephthys can Special Summon itself. Van'Dalgyon owns him, no question. Stick in 3 Solemns and/or Bribes...yeah. Dogma because he's D-Drawable and halves your opponent's LP. Plasma because he's D-Drawable and is a 1-sided Skill Drain.

What does Berserk Dragon being a Zombie have to do with anything? It can't be Special Summoned EXCEPT BY Deal. This means that Book of Life, Call of the Mummy, Il Blud, Mezuki, etc don't work.

All of the cards I listed share Berserk Dragon's only use...being a Level 8 DARK type for Allure and Trade-In.

Berserk Dragon's just a really bad card. That's why you don't see it in the SJCs

If you want Trade-In and Allure food' date=' get Dogma or Plasma, as they can be used for Destiny Draw too, not to mention Van'Dalgyon would work way better for that too if you threw in a few Solemns/Bribes.

[/quote']

You can throw solemn and bribes in almost any deck. Oh wait did i just state the obvious? No... i couldn't have. o.O
