Loleo
Tanner's Race to Glorious Demise Spell Set your LP to 8000; If you would take effect damage from a card you control or pay LP by your own card effect you lose instead. If your opponent runs out of LP your opponent wins. If you run out of LP you win. Inspired by the Tanner role in Werewolf, the social deception game. I think this would be interesting along cards that "set" LP to certain values or by forcing your opponent to activate this. Bonus: DUUUUCK! Quick-Play Spell Your opponent must set as many spells and traps in their hand as possible and you can add bait doll from your deck to your hand, then if your opponent's S/T zones aren't full they must reveal their hand. You can banish this card from your GY; add bait doll to your hand.

Basically, it resets your LP, and your new primary win condition is getting your opponent to kill you. You can still win with alternate win conditions and set your LP to values via card effects, but no paying LP or killing yourself via effect damage. Kokoroshi
Oh, that’s a lot simpler than my morning brain made it out to be.
Pommelo
Ah yeah, it seems the reason Koko was confused is because of the first part of the effect which seems to treat ANY damage you receive as an automatic lose besides the LP paying clause. IDK, this wording MIGHT be wrong or I might be the one wrong, but I also had to re-read it to get it, and that's naturally something that hints something can be fixed. The way I'm thinking of right now is simple redundancy to make it clear. If you would take damage by your card effect, or would pay LP by your card effect So yeah, green = addition. I wanted to skip the second "by your card effect", but no can do, as there is stuff like Toll out there

For the future, is "your card effect" a card you own or control?
