I decided to make a few Kirby cards as a sort of Kirby archetype that I am working on just for fun. Constructive criticism is appreciated. for reference here are the card descriptions and effects if you cannot read the text on the images. I wanted to capture what makes kirby unique in his game series to these cards. They are mainly based around taking your opponent's monsters and using them to create your own monsters, a going second strategy if you will. I am not 100% familiar with the current meta or anything so idk if these effects are fully balanced, but I put restrictions on effects I thought would be too OP. How you summon the fusion monsters is very unique, so I did not have a lot to go off on in card text. I understand if people say I need to fix the PSCT. 1. Name: Kirby Rarity: Rare Attribute: Light Level: 4 Type: Fairy/Effect Atk/DEF: 1800/1200 Card Art by: JFideo - Hobbyist, General Artist | DeviantArt Effect: When this card destroys a monster by battle, equip that monster to this card. If this card battles an opponent's monster, you can tribute any number of monsters equipped to this card. It gains 1000 ATK for every monster tributed by this effect during damage calculation only. 2. Name: Star Ally Kirby Rarity: Ultra Rare Attribute: Light Level: 4 Type: Fairy/Effect Atk/DEF: 1000/0 Card Art by Limb92 bilocyte.tumblr.com Effect: This card is treated as "Kirby" while face-up on the field or in the GY. When this card is Summoned, you can add 1 "Kirby Super Inhale" from your deck or GY to your hand. You cannot Summon monsters from the Extra Deck during the turn you activate this effect except "Kirby" monsters. 3. Name: Beam Kirby Rarity: Rare Level: 6 Attribute: Light Type: Fairy/Fusion/Effect ATK/DEF: 2400/1800 Effect: Must first be Fusion Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by tributing 1 face-up "Kirby" equipped with a Spellcaster monster you control (You do not use "Polymerization".) When this card is destroyed and sent to the GY: Special Summon 1 Kirby from your GY. Name: Sword Kirby Rarity: Rare Level: 6 Attribute: Light Type: Fairy/Fusion/Effect ATK/DEF: 2500/1500 Effect: Must first be Fusion Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by tributing 1 face-up "Kirby" equipped with a Warrior monster you control (You do not use "Polymerization".) This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, it gains 500 ATK until the end of the Battle Phase. You can only use this effect of "Beam Essence" once per turn. 7. Name: Kirby Super Inhale Rarity: Rare Type: Quickplay Spell Effect: This card can only be activated if you control a face-up "Kirby". Equip one monster your opponent controls to a face-up "Kirby" you control. Then you can Fusion Summon 1 "Kirby" monster from your Extra Deck using the selected monster and the face-up "Kirby" as materials. Name: Kirby Dreamland Rarity: Rare Type: Field Spell Card art by: Blender (reddit.com) Effect: When this card is activated, Special Summon 1 "Kirby" from your Hand or Deck. Once per turn If you control "Kirby" you can select 1 monster your opponent controls, change its Type and Attribute. Also, it's ATK becomes 0 until the End Phase.
