So is Albaz the Ashen his self at the current state in the Abyss lore or is this the start ?

Is Fallen of Albaz for some reason separated from his other half again ?

What is the machine Fallen of Albaz is ejected from (in Branded Separation) and why was he in it to begin with (given that at the start and current point in the lore he could only be ejected from some dragon or other creature and not a machine) ?
