(2) If you control “Visas Starfrost”: You can Special Summon this card from your GY.

(1) Activate 1 of these effects.

● Target 1 “Scareclaw” monster or “Visas Starfrost” you control and 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; your monster gains ATK/DEF equal to that opponent’s monster’s ATK or DEF (whichever is higher).

● When a card or effect is activated that targets a “Scareclaw” monster and/or “Visas Starfrost” you control: Negate that effect.

 

Note: The Kanji more or less reads as “Celestially Straddling from the Wanton and Willful World”.

And another wave of good support for a lacking archetype.

The Spell is incredibly medicore, being usable against targeting and nothing else.

The Link 1 on the other hand fixes all consistency issues of the archetype and enables a 1-card combo to summon their boss monster Scareclaw Trick Heart with any of the maindeck monsters (except Visas Starfrost, which, due to this Link 1, might finally be worth including).

Basically:

1.) Normal Summon any Scareclaw

2.) Link Summon Scareclaw Licht Heart

3.) Search the Field Spell and use it to search Scareclaw Reich Heart

4.) Summon Reich Heart and search Scareclaw Nova

5.) Use Scareclaw Nova to revive the initial Scareclaw (from step 1.))

6.) Summon Scareclaw Trick Heart

7.) Use Scareclaw Trick Heart to get out 2 more Scareclaws (the initial Scareclaw + 1 from deck)
