Blue Arcana
How good does this support Odd-Eyes? Comsogazer Magician DARK / Level 8 / Spellcaster / Ritual / Pendulum / Effect ATK 2800 / DEF 1200 / Scales 9 Pend. Effect: If an "Odd-Eyes", "Performapal" or "Magician" monster battles a monster, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of Damage Step. You can Tribute Pendulum monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal exactly 8; Special Summon this card from your Pendulum Zone (This is treated as a Ritual Summon). Monster Effect: You can Ritual Summon this card with "Eyes of Gazing Magicians". Must be Pendulum Summoned (from the hand or Pendulum Zone) or Ritual Summoned. If this card is Ritual Summoned: You can return 1 card on the field to the hand. During each turn, the first time each "Odd-Eyes", "Performapal" or "Magician" monster you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, it is not destroyed. If this card in the Monster Zone would leave the field: You can place it in your Pendulum Zone instead. Eyes of Gazing Magicians Ritual Spell This card can be used to Ritual Summon any Spellcaster Ritual monster from your hand or GY. You must also Tribute Pendulum monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal or exceed the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. If your opponent controls 2 or more monsters and you control no monsters, you can also send Pendulum monsters from your face-up Extra Deck to the GY. Arnaud Rivière
Cool cards all around but tbh a pendulum scale 9 is almost unplayable in Odd-Eyes. Odd-Eyes Arc is a scale 8 and is the best scale in the deck, there's no way you would not have it in a pend zone so a scale 9 doesn't work with it unfortunately But I guess since it can special summon itself from the pend zone it's not supposed to stay there idk

Not to mention odd-eyes (with or without performapal and magicians) has almost 2x as many low scales as high scales, and 9 is a reallly good scale value. This card's true value lies outside of that also like you did say. PS nice ritual spell.
Arnaud Rivière
What do you mean won't always be available ? The deck has like at least 45 ways to search Arc Pendulum. I mean I guess not everyone plays the same way but when I used to play Odd-Eyes I don't think I remember a single time where I didn't have Arc Pendulum. And yeah 9 is a nice scale they have a few cool level 8 monsters but I don't think I would personally trade Arc Pendulum for that. The level 8s usually can be Special Summoned without relying on the Pendulum Summon. And maybe the point of that card isn't to stay in the Pend Zone but then why give it the battle pendulum effect effect, that's the thing that's confusing me
