I was bored, how realistic is this? Yes the art is by me

Needs more going for it. For some light changes:

Needs too many resources. Make it so on Summon, you can return one of your own cards to your hand (I believe you can recoup Polymerization before it fully resolves this way, if you used it)

Needs a better effect than just 300 damage/End Phase. Make it so when it's destroyed, a Fire-Attribute monster in the GY is revived in Defense Position.

This has ATK/2400, less attack than the Blue-Eyes used to make it. Make the damage 300->600, weaponizing the lost ATK.

Cool Art! In the future, please post the cards text bellow.

This is almost right except you can remove the "if this face up card is on the field" part because it is implied. Yuggioh cards assume one opponent for now.

Yes, it uses Blue eyes and FIRE which is not typically in that deck to make something relatively weak.

Sadly, I don't believe you can bounce a card marked to go to the GY in this way.

Good option.

I like the lore behind that

I'm guessing the attack loss is related to Red Eyes? For the second material it should be "1 FIRE monster" (not in quotes). DDV gave some good advice as some options, this card definitely needs just a little more power and it would make a great super Poly target if FIRE decks suddenly become meta.

Quick Revolve + Varrett Tracer combo;

To ensure this custom card works, my effect should not be written to go off on Summon. It should be:

Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target one face-up Spell/Trap card you control; return that target to your hand. You cannot activate cards with the same name as the card returned to your hand until your opponent's next End Phase.

With this change, the card is a good niche; it is usable in the metagame. The eruption of your S/T card back to your hand is a solar flare erupting from the sun, or a volcano ejecting face-up heated rock -- which is lava. This lava must cool down into surface rock before it can be Set again.

Please explain because idk what Varrett is, and if you mean rocket tracer you can't target the quickplay spell with a rocket tracer you summon from deck but you can target it with one already on the field... unless I'm missing something? (You can't use the quickplay ability of a monster that hasn't been summoned yet?)

The spell would already be in the GY when it resolves, well before the period where you can activate this. (I want to learn what you're talking about if I'm missing something)

If it does work then yeah love this. Another option is it specifically returning a Poly from the GY after it is summoned.

Varrett is the original Japanese name for Rokket. So, I did some research and the confusion stems from the fact that Varrett Tracer can destroy a Quick Revolve before it fully resolves for its own effect. Quick Revolve still resolves even after being destroyed, getting one two Varretts for the price of one. However, I thought I can use Quick Revolve to actually SUMMON a Varrett Tracer & use the effect that way; that's not true - the Varrett Tracer must already be on the field for this.

Nonetheless, the effect I added still works, as it can bounce Spell/Trap cards that are more relevant than old Polymerization.

I think the card just needs to keep the same attack and defense as blue eyes, because although it has an effect, in one turn this card does less damage with a direct attack and effect used, than blue eyes with just a direct attack. Also, the effect should have more damage (around 500 - 600), or have a person deal 100 damage for every fire monster in their graveyard. Also, the text does need reworded.
