Abyssmuth Archetype (Feedback Appreciated!)

SYNOPSIS: Abyssmuth is an archetype of DARK Fish-type monsters with XyZ Extra Deck monsters that dwell deep in the trenches of the sea. They focus on manipulating, excavating and adding cards from the bottom of your deck and dragging your opponents cards down to their benthic domain with banishing effects and material manipulation. Their design is Alienesque in nature, each monster possesses strangely colored lights at the end of swirling tentacle like limbs. The naming scheme goes hand in hand with real life sea creatures that dwell deep in the ocean. The deck is as follows:

Abyssmuth Goblinshark 4* DARK
Fish/Effect
1700 ATK/500 DEF

Once per turn, you can excavate the bottom 5 cards of your deck then banish 1 "Abyssmuth" monster from among the excavated cards, also place the rest on the top of the Deck in any order. If this card is banished you can add 1 "Abyssmuth" Spell/Trap card from your deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Abyssmuth Goblinshark" once per turn. 

Abyssmuth Bloodjelly 4* DARK
Fish/Effect
1000 ATK/1800 DEF
Once per turn, you can excavate the bottom 5 cards of your deck then banish 1 "Abyssmuth" monster from among the excavated cards, also place the rest on the top of the Deck in any order. If this card is banished you can pay 1000LP; excavate the bottom 5 cards of your deck and special summon 1 Fish monster from among the excavated cards except for "Abyssmuth Bloodjelly". You can only use each effect of "Abyssmuth Bloodjelly" once per turn.

Abyssmuth Angler 4* DARK

1400 ATK/1400 DEF
Once per turn, you can excavate the bottom 5 cards of your deck then banish 1 "Abyssmuth" monster from among the excavated cards and if you do Special Summon 1 "Abyssmuth" monster from your banish zone in face-up defense position except for "Abyssmuth Angler", also place the rest on the top of the Deck in any order.  If this card is banished you can special summon it. You can only use each effect of "Abyssmuth Angler" once per turn.

Abyssmuth Barreleye 4* DARK
Fish/Effect
1600 ATK/ 400 DEF
Once per turn, you can excavate the bottom 5 cards of your deck then banish 1 "Abyssmuth" monster from among the excavated cards; and if you do you Special Summon 1 "Abyssmuth" monster from your hand,
 also place the rest on the top of the Deck in any order. If this card is banished you can target 1 Spell/Trap card your opponent controls and banish that target. You can only use each effect of "Abyssmuth Barreleye" once per turn. 

Abyssmuth Octoglass RANK 4* DARK
Fish/Xyz/Effect
2400 ATK/2000 DEF
2+ Abyssmuth monsters

You can also place 2 of your banished "Abyssmuth" monsters on top of your deck to XyZ summon this card with no materials. When this card is XyZ summoned you can excavate the bottom 5 cards of your deck and attach any number of "Abyssmuth" cards excavated to this card as materials, also place the rest on the top of the deck in any order. (Quick Effect) you can detach 1 XyZ material from this card and activate one of the following effects based on the card type of the detached material:
•Monster - If this card battles a monster before damage calculation destroy that monster.
•Spell - Fish-type monsters you control cannot be destroyed by card effects until the End Phase.
•Trap - Both players reveal their hand, you discard one card and your opponent discards a card with the same card-type as the card you discarded.  You can only use this effect of "Abyssmuth Octoglass" once per turn.


Abyssmuth Whale Shifter RANK 5* DARK
Fish/XyZ/Effect
2+ Level 5 Fish Monsters
2700 ATK/2500 DEF
You can also place 3 of your banished Fish monsters monsters on top of your deck to XyZ summon this card with no materials. When this card is XyZ summoned you can excavate the bottom 5 cards of your deck and attach any number of "Abyssmuth" cards excavated to this card as materials, also place the rest on the top of the deck in any order. (Quick Effect) you can detach 1 material from this card; this monsters card type becomes the same as the card type of the detached material. If this cards type changed by its own effect you can target 1 card on the field and banish that target. If this card is banished you can add 1 "Abyssmuth" monster from your deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Abyssmuth" Whale Shifter once per turn.


Below The Abyssmuth Trench
Spell/Continuous

All non-Fish monsters on the field lose 300 ATK/DEF. When this card is activated you can Excavate the top 3 cards of your deck and place them at the bottom of your deck in any order. You can only activate 1 "Below The Abyssmuth Trench" per turn. If this card is detached from an "Abyssmuth" XyZ monster you can add the bottom card of your deck to your hand. 

Abyssmuth Deep Dive
Spell/Normal
 
Banish an "Abyssmuth" monster from your hand or GY. You can only activate 1 "Abyssmuth Deep Dive" per turn. If this card is detached from an "Abyssmuth" XyZ monster you can shuffle any number of Fish monsters from your hand into the deck and add an equal number of cards from the bottom of your deck to your hand.


Abyssmuth Undertow
Trap/Continuous

Once per turn, when a Fish-type XyZ monster is XyZ summoned; you can attach 1 face-up card your opponent controls to it as an XyZ material. If this card is detached from an "Abyssmuth" XyZ monster; that monster gains 500 ATK until the end of this turn. 

Abyssmuth Dead Zone
Trap/Continuous

Once per turn, when an "Abyssmuth" monster is banished, you can banish 1 card from your opponents GY. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in the banish zone, also your opponent cannot move cards in the banish zone. If this card is detached from an "Abyssmuth" XyZ monster; the activated effects of cards in your opponents GY are negated until the end phase. You can only activate 1 "Abyssmuth Dead Zone" per turn.

Yugioh has a lot of decisions or fixed combos to perform on several turns in a Duel. So:

"All non-Fish monsters on the field lose 300 ATK/DEF. When this card is activated you can Excavate the top 10 cards of your deck and place them at the bottom of your deck in any order. You can only activate 1 "Below The Abyssmuth Trench" per turn. If this card is detached from an "Abyssmuth" XyZ monster you can add the bottom card of your deck to your hand. "

Arranging 10 cards can take some time depending on the circumstance. It's a lot for the opponent to remember as they have to essentially guess or remember the structure of your whole Deck from the 10 cards they see. Decrease to 5 or 2.

Arranging 10 cards can take some time depending on the circumstance. It's a lot for the opponent to remember as they have to essentially guess or remember the structure of your whole Deck from the 10 cards they see. Decrease to 5 or 2.

Your opponent does not need to remember the 10 cards you excavate because they go to the bottom of the deck. They only need to worry about the four that are returned from your Abyssmuth monsters effect.

After not being here for a while, and revisiting these forums, I have realized that 10 cards from the top is indeed quite a lot. I had not realized it was from the top and thought it was from the bottom so having a smaller number would make sense for the purpose of manipulating some of what you can see at the bottom. I lowered the number to 3. Thank you for your feedback and patience.
