Oh like I wasn't going to go for a line like that.

Now to talk about this card some more.

As you all know, I love doing me some evolutions of cards. So for one of the oldest Flip monsters in the game, I knew I had to add some extra spice. But how, I though? Then it came to me.

The two oldest types of Spell Summoning - Ritual and Fusion - have been getting some rather sweet support lately. From double-searching Spells and entire gas-propelled Archetypes like Impcantations and Libromancers, to the multiple-chain Fusion Summoning Archetypes like Branded and Invoked, they've never been eating better.

So why not have the latest adaptations of this spear-chucking shortie join in on the fun, but having stuff activate besides himself on the opponent's turn. Now yes, this can lead to some degenerate stuff for monsters that like noping a turn instead of actually forwarding a gamestate (coughMagicianofBlackChaosMAXcough) - but for other Decks that have the good removal and setup, but just need it to land on the right turn, this is the card for them. Especially considering the effect is chained to its setting and it can happen from anywhere in the Deck.

Oh, and it swerves Belle, I think.

So that's what propelled this card.
