mastergab57
Would this card be too strong ? I would like to see support for this archetype. One major problem of the fire king deck is a lack of board presence. If at least there would be some fire king monsters who could resist the fire king high avatar garunix board wipe that would be much better. The extra deck is lacking options as you mostly need to rely on generic evel 4 xys who are often destroyed by your own card effects. Konan : This card can't be fetched by Fire formation Tenki but avatar barong can grab it. Negating a spell is something the archetype would really benefit in combination with avatar ganesha Zombie: This is a nice way to xys into a fire king monster and control spells and traps presence on the board. The ability to special summon garunix also solve the lack of board presence from this archetype. Prada : having a level 4 tuner could make the extra deck more meaningful Ultimate Avatar : This is the kind of card Fire king needs to be competitive in this meta. It's own Borreload with a twist. Apocalypse Garunix : This is a card that could really help the deck deal with card that can't be destroyed by card effects at a great cost tho by banishing your own card which I think would be fair. DifferentDimensionVanessa
Konan is currently written to negate a Spell, and THEN destroy 1 other FIRE monster. If I'm correct this is free Spell negation if there is no target to destroy, which is usable in any non-FIRE Deck. Make it first destroy 1x FIRE, second negate Magic. Prada is good for not losing card advantage meaninglessly. However, not every single archetype should go into generic strong Synchros -- we have had many archetypes for those already. Maybe make it so Prada can only be used for Synchro of a FIRE monster.

So if Arvata is free monster effect negation in any non-fire deck then it is the same for Konan. However, non-fire deck won't be able to special summon Konan, I am not sure this card is worth tributing, but you could treat it like a monarch so maybe it's too good. You are right about Prada, generic synchros are already all over the place, that will be changed.

When I looked up Ganesha -- I had never seen this card before -- the internet said that you cannot use the effect if you don't have a FIRE to destroy. This is not good use of the English language in card text, but it explains why Konan would not be broken and why Ganesha exists. Somehow, we're fine there. Happy to see my suggestion now in Prada. I am happy to share that with you. I made the change for Konan so it is worded exactly like it actually operates. I created 2 fire synchros for this deck but I think Ultimate Avatar is too strong. Wouldn't you mind taking a look, I won't add more cards my work is done.

There are a couple of cards already that were used a lot but aren't as dominating anymore with the same negates - Borrel S & Apollousa in recent times. Those cards did not, however, have immunity to destruction by card effects. If you are trying to make it so a different Fire King monster won't accidentally destroy it, then make the card not get destroyed by either only a monster effect, or make it so it can't be destroyed an effect that does not target it (text from Different Dimension Dragon), so a Fire King, like what you made, can still board wipe without killing Ultimate Avatar.
