Single Card Into Archetype Game

Recommended Posts

I think it's time we revive some of these old cardmaking games.

Rules:
1. You have to make at least 2 support cards for the prompted card.
2. The cards have to create an "archetype" as defined by the game's conventions, so at least 1 of the cards must refer to the original card in its effect text.
3. You will end the post with a new prompt for the next person, and that card cannot be a part of an existing archetype, but it can be a part of a series.
4. All YCM Forum Rules apply.

To start us off, let's go with Firewall Dragon, which oddly does not have any direct support.

Not so good with Link support cards, but I think I got some good stuff.

Card 1:

Name: Tempest Evacuation

Card type: Spell/Normal

Effect: If you control a "Firewall Dragon" you can activate this card from your hand during the Battle Phase and your opponent's turn. Target 1 Link Monster you control; Return it, and all other monsters it points to, to the hand, then you may target cards on the field and/or GY up to the number of cards returned this way; Return them to the hand. If you targeted a "Firewall Dragon" with this effect; Immediately after this effect resolves, you may Special Summon 1 Cyberse-Type monster from your hand. You can only activate 1 "Tempest Evacuation" per turn and may only Summon Cyberse-Type monsters the turn you activate this card.

Note: Hope I didn't make this TOO broken.

Card 2:

Name: Network Pulse

Card Type: Spell/Normal

Effect: Activate only if a monster you control was returned from the field to the hand this turn or if you control a "Firewall Dragon". You can Normal Summon 1 Cyberse-Type monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. (You can only gain this effect once per turn) If you control a "Firewall" or "Code Talker" Link Monster, during your turn, except the turn this card was sent to the GY, you can banish this card from your GY; Add 1 "Network Pulse" from your Deck to your hand.

Note: Tried to make this one not too restrictive...wait

Card 3:

Name: Cyberse Command Line

Card Type: Monster/Cyberse/Effect/DARK/Level 5/ATK 2000/DEF 1000

Effect: Cannot be used as Link Material, except for the Link Summon of a Cyberse-Type monster, and all other materials must be Cyberse-Type monsters.  You may treat this card as a Link 2 monster for the Link Summon of a "Firewall" Link Monster or as a Link 3 monster for the Link Summon of "Firewall Dragon".  You may only Special Summon "Cyberse Command Line" once per turn.

(Edit: Realized I need to name a card, not an archtype)

Next card: Wretched ghost of the attic. The forgotten Kuriboh.

When this card is activated add one Wretched Ghost of the Attic to your hand and if you do special summon it. Wretched Ghost of the Attic's you control gain attack points equal to the number of unused monster zones x 600. Once per turn you can discard a card, if you do you may put one attic counter on that monster. At the beginning the end step if you control a Wretched Ghost of the Attic destroy all monster with attic counters on them and deal damage to your opponents equal to half of those monsters attack points.418888911_AprenticeGhostoftheAttic.thumb.jpeg.ec95d56f5a1e43bea4b98758fac41214.jpeg

(when this card is face up on the it's treated as Wretched Ghost of the Attic)
You can return one card you control who's original name was Wretched Ghost of the Attic to the deck; and if you do special summon this card from the hand or deck.  If this card is special summoned from the deck you may mill the top card of your deck. If it's an "Attic" card you can put an attic counter on target creature. You may sacrifice this card and remove 1 Attic counter from the field to add 1 "Attic" card from your deck to your hand. You can only activate each effect of "Apprentice Ghost of the Attic" once per turn.

I know the image looks out of place but turns out there's very little Wretched Ghost of the Attic fanart

Discard one card, if you do special summon up to three Wretched Ghost of the Attic's from your deck, but you can't special summon for the rest of the turn except for Attic Cards

Now let's try for a more generic card to spin into an Archetype, shall we?

Something that had a link to a recently-made meta-threatning Deck.

Something like....

Outstanding Dog Mary
