EksDee
Okay, here's a quickie. For things like Mirror Force, equip spell cards, ritual summons, etc... Does a Token count as a monster? If they don't count as a monster, then technically you can activate torrential tribute and your tokens won't be destroyed..Also, some cards specifically state "monster (not a token)" in their effect..So, is a token a monster? Exiro
Tokens are affected by everything that affects monsters, unless the card states otherwise. Hope that clears it up. a token and monster are 2 different things you can have as many tokens on the field as you want No, tokens are placed in the monster card zones, and you can only have up to 5 monsters/tokens on the field at the same time.Don't say random things that don't answer the question and are not true. EksDee
See, I was working on making a deck that had NO monster cards, just magic and traps that create tokens. But it was weak because I couldn't think of ways to give them decent attack values. The deck could get to a winning situation of abotu 160,000 life points to 4,500 life points and then fall apart. Abstract [Atrocity]
Unless already answered, tokens are monsters, but they're normal monsters. So you can use them for stuff like Creature Siezure.

Just to see if it COULD be done on a decent level, really. Tokens are easier to summon than a monster.
