Draconus297
Superiogre EARTH - Level 5 - Fiend/Effect - 1000/0 Cannot be Special Summoned, except by its own effect. Cannot be used as Material for a Summon. Unaffected by other card effects. If your opponent Special Summons a monster from their Main or Extra Deck: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. This card gains 800 ATK for each card in your opponent's hand. If your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster: Make your opponent draw 1 card. Your opponent does not discard cards for hand size limit, but cards and effects cannot be activated from your opponent's hand. This is a bit of a retrain of an old AGM card, Envious Ogre. Your opponent will naturally think that your allowing them to draw a million cards is a benefit, as you're forcing them to plus, but then they're dealing with a fat, angry ogre that blocks all their handtraps and most players won't have an effective way to beat over, as it's very likely to hit 7400 ATK in the process of your opponent Summoning Accesscode, exactly 100 higher than anything Accesscode can competently reach. It also doubles as an Anti-Spell Fragrance, for what that's worth. Also, you can effectively put a lot of combo Decks on a massive clock if you open 3 of them, given that your opponent will get locked into drawing 3 every time they Summon a monster if they keep their ED plays going, putting them in a weird reverse Maxx "C" situation. Rayfield Lumina
And so, opponent Tributes your guy with Santa Claws. Fitting for Xmas xD Welp, yeah, this card is problematic. Mini Slifer effect but 5000 times easier to Summon, impervious to 99% of the game, with an effect that makes it stronger. I'm trying to think of generic methods that would let a majority of decks to reliable get rid of this guy, but I'm having trouble to find an answer. Perhaps I'm missing something, of course, but if there really is no solid way out (beyond the super obvious route of trying to use up the hand resources to weaken the boi), then that means players would be forced to run Side Deck stuff only to get rid of this one card, and that's inherently an issue when creating a card. Pretty unsure as of now of how to name it, but right now I just keep thinking of 3 cards in hand = 3400 ATK = stronger than the classic BEWD stats boss mon = trouble. In case people would agree with me that this card is somewhat tilted to the OP side, perhaps an adjustment in pwr (+600 ATK per card in hand, for instance) could do wonders. 100% open to hear counter arguments, because as I said again, I'm unsure. But I believe the name of the thread is valid: Neat! What a surprise to see you making a normal post @Draconus297
