You can only use this card name’s 2nd effect once per Duel. (1) (Quick Effect): You can send this card from your hand to the GY; this turn, each time a card(s) is added from the Main Deck or GY to your opponent's hand, immediately draw 2 cards. (2) If this card is in your GY, except the turn this card was sent to the GY (Quick Effect): You can banish this card and 7 other Spellcaster monsters from your GY with different names; skip your opponent's turn. Until the end of your next turn after this effect resolves, your opponent takes no damage. So I decided to make a hand trap who's first effect would combind the Monster Spell and Trap cards Respectively to draw cards Appropriate, Shared Ride, and our favorite hand trap in the game Maxx "C" Together with this new fusion of functionality of how the effects and condition worked. Maxx C just got off being banned and the first effect alone is a way more powerful version. The second effect allows for SOO much setup and supports alternate win conditions, and all of this is completely generic with a self-contained cost. For the first effect maybe if it was only a draw one and not a quick effect, so it could have some niche uses. You're forgetting one thing, and that's that monsters can get support in a much wider number of ways than a Spell and are able to do a lot more things than a simple Spell, they can be Summoned, used as material, attack. What I'm saying if quite obvious, but I'm trying to say you can't just slap a powerful effect that'd belong to a Spell on a monster and double its effect, much less when it's a Level 4 Spellcaster lol. Next you'll have monsters that discard themselves from hand and Special Summon 2 monsters from either GY, it's just a double Monster Reborn xD. Then, if that wasn't enough, the card has yet another effect that, and yeah, it's very hard to pull, but is pretty close to win-con. I guess it's "fine" to keep the second effect, but going for 2 cards per "add to hand" opponent's effect is super greedy, imo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
