When you take battle damage from battles involving this card: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the amount of battle damage you took. If this card battles an opponent's monster, during damage calculation (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; increase your LP equal to the amount of battle damage you would of taken during that battle instead. If this card is destroyed by an opponents card: Special Summon 1 Rank 4 or lower "Heroic Champion" Xyz monster, except "Number 54: Heroic Champion - Lion Heart" from your Extra Deck, then, attach this card to the summoned monster as Xyz Material (This Special Summon is treated as a Xyz Summon.) You can only use this effect of "Number 54: Heroic Champion - Lion Heart" once per turn. ATK/100 DEF/100 So this version of Lion Heart teams up to Heroics (since this card was used by the same character who uses the Heroic theme in the anime) and gets a big upgrade with its effects where it grants you life if you would be dealt battle damage by detaching Xyz Material and if destroyed by an opponents card can be used to summon a new Heroic Champion Xyz and attach this card to it as material.
