I think I can help.....well now that you check out the banned cards, you need to set an strategy on your deck....there's a lot of cards that doesn't make any connection each other. Make your deck works, I won't say go on and buy all the typical and expensive cards that every "master duelist" uses on their decks....for me that's the worst way to make us hate yugioh

Use simple and cool cards you like, but make them work together.

If you really like the defense strategy, I can suggest some ideas related on the list you post above

1. 3 tribute mons (level 5 or higher)

2. If you like the labyrinth wall/wall shadow combo, try to summon them fast. For example "Giant rat" can do the job to bring labyrinth wall to the field, there's a card named "Ancient rules" I think it may help.

If you will relate your deck on Labyrinth Wall, add 3 of them 3 Shadow walls, 3 magical labyrinth.

3. You also may work on a rock monster type deck....and why not use the flipping nightmare strategy. (Resembles on the "swarm of scarabs" effect)

There's a lot of options, I think I will write during hours, so if you want some help write back to [email protected], and I'll help with some deck ideas pal

Farewell

try starting with 3 DH-defender, 3 Renge, 3 draining shield, and 1 mirrior force for defense

then for attacking add 3 chainsaw etc. and the one card that negates effects that let your opponent draw out side the draw phase (i can't think of the name and i can't find it right now)

So far what I've learned is that Goldshine Dragon is not a player. He merely basks in joy by pounding on those who have not yet improved to a certain level. This is after all, your first deck. Some of my suggestions is to cut down on your monsters--you have too many.

Many of the faster and well-built decks nowadays will clear your field very fast, so repeatedly putting your monsters to be killed isn't very efficient. Forget the Wall Shadow because there's no difference between it and labyrinth wall. In the end you'll only find your Wall Shadow in defense mode too.

I can't go through your whole deck one card at a time, but for now, get rid of kyruel and replace it with a definite kill (man eater bug or old vindictive magician).

Most importantly, you will need a balance between your monsters and spell/traps. A 1:1 ratio of cards. In my opinion, great decks come through in only a certain combination of cards that you will be able to bring out quickly. A deck should be within 40-50 cards--50 at most and that's pushing it. Most of my decks are around 20 monsters and 20 spells/traps. Just try to cut down and balance, and you'll find yourself a more efficient deck. Good luck!
