Make a Pendulum (Or Pendulum-Adjacent Card) Game

Okay we all know how these work, but the old thread's been locked for a while, so in the spirit of Konami deciding Pendulums never existed let's make some new Pendulums for MR5.

 

Rules: One person writes a name, or a short description of something they want to see in a card, and the next person writes the card.

Cards can be any of the following:

-Pendulum Monster

-Non-Pendulum main-deck Monster that supports Pendulums

-Spell or Trap that deals with Pendulums

 

If a Pendulum monster is part of a pair of two, go ahead and write both names, but the next person is NOT required to write both if they don't feel like it.

So to start us off, how about the following:

If this card is in your GY: You can send 1 Beast monster from your hand or field; place this card face-up in your Extra Deck. You can only use each effect of "Rescue Hound" once per turn.

A Wyrm Pend monster, but its effects are simple yet effective.

Three-Pane Mirror of Knowledge

DARK / Fiend / Pendulum / Effect

Scales: 4 / Level 3

Pend. Effect: Once per turn, you can declare 1 Attribute; your opponent reveals a monster in their hand with that Attribute, and if they do, add 1 monster with the same Level, Attribute and Type from your Deck to your hand, but you cannot Summon monsters with the same name as that card for the rest of this turn. Otherwise, pay 500 LP or destroy this card.

Monster Effect: Once per turn, you can target 1 monster your opponent controls; reveal from your hand or target face-up in your Extra Deck 1 monster with the same Attribute as that card; after that, destroy this card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 Mirror Token (Attribute ?/ Type ? / Level ?/ ATK 0 / DEF 0) with the same Level, Attribute and Type as the first target.

 

Next:

A Casino themed Gamble Pend Spell/Trap, but the Pend monsters in your hand are "Currency" and the Extra Deck is the "Slot Machine".

Swaying Luck

Normal Trap

Add any number of Pendulum monsters from your hand to your Extra Deck face-up; draw cards equal to the number added and reveal them, then, Special Summon face-up Pendulum monsters from your Extra Deck to Main Monster Zones up to the number of Pendulum monsters revealed by this effect. If you reveal no Pendulum monsters, take 500 damage for each card added to your Extra Deck this way.  You can only activate 1 "Swaying Luck" per turn.

 

Next:

Make a single Pendulum (not a Pendulum Pair) for an archetype that does not have one.

Man and I'm spoiling a cover card for one of my boosters with this too. Ah well, its a card contest, probably won't blow back on me too much when Ominous Osciallation debuts.

Man, I seem to get Neos prompts a lot. Ah well, I like the archetype anyway.

Monster Effect: Cannot be Xyz Summoned. Must be placed in your Pendulum Zone by Tributing 3 monsters you control whose original names are "The Wicked Avatar", "The Wicked Dreadroot" and "The Wicked Eraser".

Trivia: Duat means "Dark" and Heka means "Magic" in Egyptian tongue.

The Win Condition is meant to humiliate ur opponent, fitting for such wicked gods

ME: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set.  You can banish 1 monster you control until the End Phase to Special Summon this card (from your hand).  If you would banish a LIGHT or DARK monster(s) for the Summon of a monster, you can banish this card from face-up in your Extra Deck instead of 1 of those monsters.  During the End Phase of a turn this card was banished: Place it on the top or bottom of your Deck.

Monster Effect: When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 Level 4 or lower "Ice Barrier" monster from your Deck or GY to your hand. When this card leaves the field: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Ice Barrier" monster except "Frost Monk of the Ice Barrier" from your GY.

You can place a number of Spellstone Counters (max. 3) on this card up to the number of monsters you control whose Level/Rank equals this card’s Scale. You can only use each effect of "Arcane Archivist Otho" once per turn. While this card has 3 Spellstone Counters on it, your Spell cards and their effects cannot be negated.

ME: When this card is Special Summoned: You can take 1 Spell card from your GY and place it on top of your Deck. You can only use this effect of "Arcane Archivist Otho" once per turn. If this card is destroyed by battle: You can draw 1 card.

Take one of the "natural disaster"-type cards in Yugioh (Torrential, Giant Trunade, Earthquake, Tremendous Fire, Raigeki, etc.) and make a support pendulum for it. Just make sure to note the card it supports if your card doesn't specifically list its name.

PE: You can destroy this card; add 1 "Giant Trunade" from your Deck to your hand, also you cannot Set Spell/Traps for the rest of this turn.

ME: If this card is Special Summoned: You can return 1 Spell/Trap on the field to its owner's hand, and if you do, that Spell/Trap Zone cannot be used until the end of the next turn.
