Pommelo
Fantasy Garden Gate Field Spell Card You can take 1 Plant monster from your Deck with an ATK, DEF, or a combined ATK and DEF that is a multiple of 700, and either add it to your hand or Special Summon it in face-up Attack or Defense Position, or in face-down Defense Position, ignoring its Summoning conditions. You can target 1 Plant monster you control; switch its ATK and DEF (even if this card leaves the field). Once per turn, when a Plant monster you control is sent to the GY, you can also treat it as being sent to the GY by battle destruction and destroyed by your opponent's card effect, but if you do, you can only Special Summon Plant monsters for the rest of this turn. You can only use each effect of "Fantasy Garden Gate" once per turn. Alright, new card, here I go. First and foremost, this card was created in order to support that group of four Plant Princesses that tbh aren't very threatening no matter what you do xD. Their effects aren't that good, and they kinda don't go well together. What appeal do they have? High stats and cute waifus. And what do they have in common? A 2800 Stat, either in ATK or DEF. So I said: let's go with that. But stuff seemed underwhelming at that point, so I went into thorough research and came up with this idea of the multiples of 700, which includes quite the number of Plants, and while many of them are pretty trashy, it's interesting how this card could fit here and there. The effects are all over the place, but many of them activate when something is destroyed (in any way or by your opponent in an specific way). So I made an effect to try to mesh the strategy a little, and to play further with the ATK/DEF. Here are the results of my study (perhaps 1 or 2 omitted for being completely useless) Chirubimé, Princess of Autumn Leaves [1800 / 2800] - Will like to swap stats, also makes use of “also treated as your opponent’s destruction” effect. Tytannial, Princess of Camellias [2800 / 1800] - Can combo as well with the above effect Talaya, Princess of Cherry Blossoms [2800 / 1800] - Ok, but the interaction with this card is not too good. Mariña, Princess of Sunflowers [2800 / 1800] - Makes use again of the “also treated” effect. Predaplant Sarrarecian [100 / 600] - to hand, make use of “also treated as opponent’s destruction" Predaplant Teraphentes - [300 / 2100] - Swap effect Predaplant Banksiogre - [2000 / 100] - Not too great interaction, but another Predaplant option Sylvan Komushroomo [100 / 2000] - SS face-down Sylvan Flowerknight [1800 / 1000] - Pretty acceptable interaction Sylvan Sagequoia [2600 / 2100] - Stronkee angree tree. Traptrix Nephentes [800 / 2000] - Can become a beater at least Traptrix Genlisea [1200 / 1600] - Decent stuff Traptrix Vesiculo [1400 / 1400] - Doesn’t have best interaction, but the fact that there are 3 Traptrix eligible already is solid. Traptrix Dionaea 1[700 / 1100] - Now you see why the ATK/DEF combination thingy is in place? Genius :v Naturia Rosewhip - [400 / 1700] - Y’know, this thing has the same effect as Great Shogun Shien xD Naturia Tulip [600 / 1500] - Eww, but oh well. Naturia Cosmobeet [1000 / 700] - Also eww, but Tuner Naturia Eggplant [1000 / 700] - Naturia eww #3 Naturia Marron - [1200 / 700] This is actually decent. You can either add to hand to summon and use effect 2 right away. Naturia Pumpkin [1400 / 800] - To hand. Naturia Strawberry [1600 / 1200] - Naturia eww #4, but hey, plenty of options! Aromage Cananga [1400 / 1000] - Not much to say Aromage Rosemary [1800 / 700] - One of Rayfield’s favourite waifus, that’s enough xP Aromage Bergamot - [2400 / 1800] - EWW Male Aromage… but decent beater. Cherry Inmato - [700 / 400] - makes use of “also treated as opponent’s dest” Inmato - [1400 / 800] - noice effect that can combo with the “also treated effect”. Mystic Tomato [1400 / 1100] - Welp… IDTS, but there it is. Rose Girl [800 / 600] - Tuner stuff, not bad Boycotton [1000 / 2500] - Best card ever. Seed of Flame - [1600 / 1200] - Now we’re talking, this thing really makes use of this card. Cactus Bouncer - [1800 / 300] - This thing is dangerous AF and makes use of the ignoring Summoning condition of the card. Giant Cephalotus - [1850 / 700] - Eww Angel Trumpeter - [1900 / 1600] - Vanilla beater, ok, but its Lv4 Tuner and has cool artwork. Mandragon - [2500 / 1000] - Vanilla Pendulum Beater, ‘cause why not? Lonefire Blossom - [500 / 1400] - Extremely good effect, imo, perhaps one of the best options. Hedge Guard [0 / 2100] - to hand And welp, this card was able to SUmmon from the Extra Deck at some point (hence the ignoring Summoning conditions thing), but I noticed it was too dangerous. It was kept for Cactus Bouncer but that's the least important thing of the card and can be removed. All in all, I loved how this card turned out, C n' C welcome :)

Loleo
It's interesting how much work went into the research and the dedication to the text! Seems very well balanced and made. One little thing, being able to treat sent to GY as battle AND effect just seems weird can't it just be a choice of one or the other?

I admit it, that's the weirdest part of the card, indeed. As you can imagine, eligible cards for this effect have quite the varied effects, but Plants kinda like to be destroyed (don't do it in real life, tho), and for this reason the effect covers both destructions. It could be a choice? Yeah. I could very well mention that when a Plant is sent to the GY, you can make that sent to the GY be treated as being destroyed by battle or by your opponent's card effect, but mechanically it also works as it is even if being treated as both sounds crazy xD. ATK/DEF with a dash like this are bundled together even if your text implies they are being listed as 2 different options. The way you have it is understood but a bit less intuitive and looks a bit weird in this case. The second dashed ATK/DEF is fine but I still took it out in my suggestion, as I think preview of a card's layout tends to look weirder with it so it should only be reserved for when you really need to shorten the text at any corner possible, and it also looks weird like an exception to the norm when there are multiple listings and it is the only one using that format (by listings I mean the ATK itself, then DEF itself, then ATK+DEF).... if that makes any sense. The positions listing in the official texts is too lengthy but "any positions" doesn't imply intuitively that face-down is an option. Nothing in the game ever does face-down without specifying it outright. Though I got what you were going for. - - - - - Grammar stuffs aside, I love the card and think it has potential to boost up Plants in general in so many ways it'd be an absolute staple. Not only is it being a Field Spell great for searchability, but just being able to grab Lonefire means it can technically support all Plants in the game. Gigaplant now can start the swarm loops without having to worry too much about getting Lonefire out of the deck if you didn't open up with it. All Plant archetypes and themes got a consistency boost (Sylvans, Naturia, Traptrix, Rikka, Sun Avalon, Aromages, Seasonal Princesses, Gigavice, Plant Synchros). The card's jump from casual to competitive is in how it is basically like an Emergency Teleport/A Hero Lives/Unexpected Dai for Plants. Though as if that wasn't enough, the way it amplifies floating bonuses is pretty insane. Like, I can Special Summon a Mystic Tomato from the deck, use it for a Fusion/Synchro and treat it as "destroyed by battle" to still get the search, which is like having "Last Will" legal in the game again but it can do it again every turn and be searchable. It also makes cards like Supply Unit break even in their deck-thinning antics pretty much instantly without having to wait for reactive measures like actually getting something destroyed. Something here should probably lock you into Plants for the rest of the turn's Summons or something in fact because I think the card is just super powerful. And yes, I agree that it is an impressive amount of research that went into this.

Alright, grammar fixes in position, thanks a bunch for pointing those out, now the multiple of 700 effect looks cleaner and the swap effect has a nice clause in position. I was taking my risk when using "any position" because I was aware that's not orthodox, I simply wanted to avoid having to include all 3 positions, but I suppose you're right in being strict in that regard since the original effect wasn't that terribly long (at least compared to some of my other creations lol). I included a clause to lock you into plants when using effect 3... tbh I still have doubts about whether to use it for effect 1 or 3, but I concluded 3 is much more wilder and needed a check... thinking about it, I could have made the clause so it applied if you used any of the card's effects xD 3 hours ago, Sleepy said: Grammar stuffs aside, I love the card and think it has potential to boost up Plants in general in so many ways it'd be an absolute staple. I was surprised at how decently well it managed to directly support a lot of Plant archetypes, almost as if Konami wanted some crazy guy to come up with this xD. There were some disappointments, though, for instance, a pity it doesn't directly support Rose Lover. 3 hours ago, Sleepy said: The card's jump from casual to competitive is in how it is basically like an Emergency Teleport/A Hero Lives/Unexpected Dai for Plants.
