Dokutah
I cant make the full review yet but i can tell you this much for now, the idea is interesting but there a reason why Konami rarely make "revealing cards" gimmick especially without any extra stuff like comparing (cards like "Ante") or has certain upkeep cost. The last time they do things similar to this is Golden Ladybug. But the. The other side of it is that...its incredibly cheap cost, borderline free in fact. And from quick skimming, some of these effecs simply too potent to have on card whose activation is either reveal itself or its fellow arcahetype
Speedynox101
Thanks for the criticism! I'm very new to making custom cards on sites like this so, I need the experience. Hope, you enjoy the balance patch I made.
tripledawn
Okay... so, I'll admit I stopped reading after 7 monsters. So I'm gonna point out the more general issues I found from what I've read. 1. Each monster so far has at least 2 effects, most have 3 activated effects - that's a lot of elements to keep track of. Makes the cards unwieldly and very difficult to keep track of what was used during the course of a turn. From what I've seen, a five card hand has 15 effects it can proc before extra-deck and other elements are brought in, such as the things you get from the draw and tutoring effect. 2. Mechanical issue - a monster that was revealed then discarded (or summoned, banished, shuffled etc.) cannot proc its "if this card was revealed" effect. That's because it's no longer treated as the same card by the game. 3. That link 1 is beyond wild. It's a reborn (so summoning it is also summoning the link 2), 2 reveal procs, a pop 1, and loads your grave. And that's the tone you've set for the rest of cards. ---- My general recommendations (note that this is personal opinion and should be taken as advice from a fellow creator, not bible) Tone things down, by quite a bit. Not every card should be a starter, extender, and recursion all loaded in 1. If I were you I'd give a couple of the main deck monsters the option to reveal a card in hand until the end phase for a minor (but useful) effect. If you use a link 1, then revealing a card should be the only thing it does. Until the End Phase means that it can't be revealed again that turn - unless... The monsters you want to reveal have a cool effects! Say one of them is a (Quick Effect) summon from hand, another can mimic shared ride, a third can bounce a special summoned monster, a fourth can be an honest, etc. The reveal mechanic could be a really cool stepping stone for an archetype, and I hope you explore it to your heart's content.
