Name: Time Wizard

Attribute: LIGHT

Type(s): Spellcaster/Effect

Level: 2

ATK/DEF: 500/400

Number: 71625222

Card Effect Type(s): Ignition

Toss a coin and call it. If you call it right, destroy all monsters on your opponent's side of the field. If you call it wrong, destroy all monsters on your side of the field, and you lose Life Points equal to half the total ATK of the destroyed monsters. You can only use this effect once per turn during your Main Phase.

If Cup of Ace is Pot of Greed with a coin flip, does that mean Time Wizard is Raigeki with a coin flip?

GO GO GO GO!

It's good but when I play it on Kaiba the Revenge, I always seem to call it wrong. But the only real problem is if you have a strong monster on your side of the field.

It's good to have Monster Reborn or Premature Burial in your hand when you activate this effect because if you accidentally call it wrong, you can always Special Summon your monster back, OR, if you called it right, you can Special Summon back the destroyed monster from your opponent's Graveyard for extra damage.

"Reversal of Fate"' date='[/quote']

Select 1 "Arcana Force" monster you control. That monster's effect is now treated as the opposite coin toss result.

"Light Barrier"

During your Standby Phase toss a coin. If the result is Tails' date=' the effect of this card is negated until your next Standby Phase. If the result is Heads, the effect of this card is applied until your next Standby Phase.

* The coin toss of an effect that activates when an "Arcana Force" [b']monster[/b] is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned is not applied. Instead, select which effect to apply instead. When an "Arcana Force" monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle, increase your Life Points by half of the original ATK of the destroyed monster.

Remind me again how this affects Cup of Ace, a normal spell?

I remember I was dueling one n00b, he had TW and Baby Dragon against my blue-eyes. He uses the effect and flips. The coin hits the table and lands on tails, he suddenly shouts out "TAILS!"

He claimed that because the card didn't specify by saying "before the coin hits", he was allowed to do this.

Wow. That's pretty bad. It can also be considered cheating since Time Wizard's effect is Luck-Based.

Oh... I thought that's why you were saying "n00b". Okay then...

As for Time Wizard, I think it should either be used alone, or not at all. I personally wouldn't use it at all.
